The Book of Eli
We were walking around Williamsburg when, out of nowhere, Eli Miller appeared and said he’d give us “the most important photo you’ll take today.” Eli, a seltzer delivery man making families happy all over Brooklyn, gave us stories about the recent New York Times and Brooklyn Daily Eagle articles on him, the book written about him and the route running right past my place that the 79 year-old still maintains to this day. All while stealing the Instax photo I took of him. Keep on, Eli.
