The project of Surya 36 is getting much sensational every day with back to back announcements that are completely putting the entire town in a state of awe.
Recently it was announced that Sai Pallavi will be playing the female lead role in this movie, directed by Selvaraghavan.
The film was launched officially on January 1, 2018, and shooting is expected to go on floors after the festival of Pongal.
Neeraj Kona being signed as the costume designer made a casual tweet of expressing the gratitude of thanksgiving towards the entire team for involving her as costume designer and mentioned that Rakul Preet Singh is also a part of this cast and crew. This had pulled an extensive impact of attraction upon the film.
Sooner, the official announcement from Dream Warrior Pictures has mentioned that Rakul Preet Singh is onboard for this movie. As officially confirmed by producer SR Prabhu of Dream Warrior Pictures, Suriya 36 will be released for the festive occasion of Diwali 2018.
No smoking and No drinking in TSK – Censor board in surprise
Actor Suriya, director Vignesh Shivan, producer KE Gnanavel Raja, Keerthi Suresh, Ramya Krishnan, Suresh Menon and Thambi Ramaiah were present for the occasion of Thaana Serndha Koottam audio launch press meet.
Speaking on the occasion, actor Suriya said, “This will be a film that will not have that card of smoking or drinking card during the title credits. In fact, a Censor Board official personally called and congratulated us for making a film of this kind.”
On clarifying about Thaana Serndha Koottam and Special 26, he said, “Special 26 was based on a real-life incident that shook the entire nation in 1987. This was the inspiration behind Neeraj Pandey’s Special 26.
Nevertheless, Vignesh Shivan has just taken the incident from newspaper cutting and wrote his own version of the tale. In this way, Thaana Serndha Koottam will be completely different from Special 26.”
Surya also admitted that after watching the special screening of Thaana Serndha Koottam, many congratulated him saying that they are now happy to see the same old Surya after a very long time.
