Hoya linearis | Semi Hidroponic Cuttings
Mom got me a maranta (prayer plant) for my birthday! It’s kinda a replacement for the one we were growing and Renfri ate (😑), don’t worry she’s fine and they’re not toxic. After some research I decided to transition it to semi hydroponic! And I set up three “experiments” from the main plant. It’s a go thing we took a crack at it yesterday cause poor little miss was DROWNING (not our fault she bought it a day that was storming and it was just soaked). So here’s my breakdown:
1. Direct transition into leca, white pot
2. Transitioning roots, I’m hoping to get some water roots on the second one. That’s just in a glass of water
3. Clippings we had to take off to transplants, just trying to propagate them
They all got water with plant food. And my growing light arrived today so I also set that up. I set it to be indirect with about 40% intensity and on a 3hr timer, maranta like medium indirect light so I’m hoping this is a good ratio.
I shall keep y’all updated 💕💕
