hey ya’ll, 

so tonight I realized my stipend hasn’t come in and probably won’t until later this week. I set up direct deposit too late so they were supposed to mail me my first stipend check on Friday but it literally just hasn’t shown up (which is very annoying and frustrating because I need money to live).

Some bills went though autopay in the last couple of days too and I need to make sure rent is paid on time, and this past month I’ve had to have my landlords be very patient with me over a couple of things so I really don’t want to ask any more of them. 

I need $65 to be able to afford my rent payment in between now and whenever I get my paycheck (looking like tuesday or wednesday because of this holiday weekend) and I don’t even know if it’ll come then, so I’m in a sticky spot. 

So, I’m embarrassed, but I am sending out my Ko-Fi link here in case anyone would be willing and generous enough to donate. I feel bad because I haven’t generated a lot of content in the last month or so outside of an update or two, but, I have few options.

alright my dudes it’s officially march which means my insurance finally kicked in! and i was gonna say that i was just waiting for my insurance card to get here to make an appointment but literally as i was typing this one of the maintenance men knocked on my door to give me my mail and new mailbox key (they had to replace the lock) and it was in my mail so!!! once i post this i’m going to call the doc and make an appointment

that said i’m still doing $5 traditional commissions (or tbh at this point commissions for any amount through kofi, even $3 for one coffee) to help pay copay since my rent has gone up and my hours at work at being cut

SEMI-URGENT?? Okay so my close friend asked me out on a date and he admitted that he likes me but I'm not too sure how I feel about him. I think I sort of like him so I said yes because I always over think everything and I never go on dates. So I'm really nervous for Saturday because I sort of want him to kiss me but I've never kissed anyone and I'm not gonna know how to act at all in the date. Help please???

Hey there love,I can totally understand your nervousness to finding a special binding with someone especially when it’s a close friend or first date. But since this is a close friend, you shouldn’t worry so much as I have some tips to help you out.

Be yourself. Remember that you and your friend are close because of your connection and how you bond being yourself. That guy likes you for who you are, so don’t feel the need to try and impress him or wow him as you’ve already done it.

On your date night, you can dress nice but make sure you are comfortable. Don’t try to extra glam yourself or wear something provocative if you aren’t comfortable. Your friend likes who you are as a whole and while outside looks might mean something a bit, the most important thing is in the inside.

When you are out, relax a bit. Don’t get tense because its a date. Think about it as hanging out. Treat it like every other time y'all hang out. You and this guy may have a connection, if you feel it, ride with it. Who knows, you might get your kiss.

Like I mentioned before, you and this guy are close for a reason. If you start feeling nervous just remember to breathe and smile. You can never go wrong like that. Keep an open mind and speak what you feel. (:

(not urgent, but I would like it answered as soon as possible please) I feel like I ate tons of food today and I feel super full. This week I started tracking my calorie intake and so today I ate a total of 820 calories. Is that a normal amount or low or high? Sorry I'm so unsure and I feel super full but I feel like people are supposed to eat more than that but I think if I eat more I would get sick!

Hey there,

the average calorie intake of a male age 16 and up is 2500 a day. For females it’s around 2000, but it all depends on if you sport and how long you sleep and whatever. I can honestly say that at the end of a day, if you’ve only had 820 calories and you feel full/sick, you should probably see a doctor.

Can you confide in a parent/teacher and look for a doctor to help you, please? Don’t worry, there are many things that could cause you to feel like this. It’ll all be okay, but please seek for professional help so you can feel better, okay? :)

SEMI-URGENT. There's this guy I like and he likes me and we've discussed dating and blah blah blah. But I hung out with him Saturday night and felt it went great but he hasn't talked to me since. It's been 4 days, no explanation, nothing. He's been online and read my messages. I keep blaming myself and I'm shaking and punched the wall a few times and now I'm hurt physically and emotionally and don't know what to do. Please help... Signed, -K

I’m sorry to hear that you’re upset. Perhaps there is some sort of explanation for all of this, you just need some time to figure it out. If you thought things went great, they probably did. Plus you’ve talked about dating in the past. How did he respond to that? Could it be that he thinks things are moving too forward and is getting nervous? 

In any case, it is not your fault. You did all that you could, you reached out to him. Now it is his responsibility to respond back. And you know what, if he doesn’t answer you then too bad for him. You move on and it’s his loss. You don’t need to be waiting on some guy who can’t respond to your messages. You deserve better than him if he doesn’t give you a good explanation. I know you have feelings for him, but they’ll go away when you find someone who treats you better.
