It was nice out, a welcome change from the blistering heat a few days ago when he was moving furniture into his new apartment. His shoulders still ached from the sunburns. He took a deep breath in as he leaned against the alley wall, scrolling through his phone.

Finding out this town was in need of a proper dealer had been a very welcome surprise, and it had been easy enough for word to spread around the town.

He’d already managed to pocket quite a bit tonight, just from passersby. He was just waiting for one last scheduled ‘appointment’, then he’d grab some groceries on the way home, and maybe let Senwel pick out a new toy tomorrow, god knows the kid deserved one, he’d been such a trooper lately.

He hummed quietly, slipping his phone back into his pocket as he peeks out, looking down the sidewalk. Where was this guy? He’s 15 minutes late.

      HEY , no offence life but, uh, brian’s a good guy; why does this always happen to him ? harding swallows the thought of questioning robert’s intentions any further. he was sure loud gulping wasn’t prohibited in the “contract”. or rather a threat if he wanted to be technical about the whole ordeal. eyes dart over to small - seriously , what’s this guy’s damage ?

『ℐ☸』 Being tucked into the older man’s side sends his thoughts rolling. Dark eyes, silver streaks in his hair, and Robert’s scarred hands. There used to be times where Joseph would wonder how things would be different, way back before Robert was even a name he knew. Before kids, Mary, or even college. No point in dwelling in the past.

『ℐ☸』 So he nudges Robert in his side, earning a grunt and a look. So he sits up and wraps his arms around the hunter’s neck, locking their lips without hesitation.
