senpais are overrated, i believe only in myself! fuck that noise!

no, just kidding tho. wow how can i put this? im not one for favoritism. i draw inspiration from everyone i follow cus everyone i see on my dash is a delight to watch and helps me grow as i watch how they interact and in turn learn how to interact more as well.

but if i had to pick and my life depended on giving a definite answer. off the top of my head, i'd probably say hinnie, diya, ari, genie, lauren, stevie, kara, red, justina, cath, and mani as people i'd look up and appreciate. that said, don't take my word as gospel or written in stone now. i love everyone and i look up to everyone i follow in one way or another even if their name doesn't come up to the top of my head. even you, my awesome twin, have a place in my heart.

[ ❣ :: an unpopular opinion i have ]

i think legend of korra kinda sucks. i loved it at first with amon and all, but after the second season with the whole genocidal maniac in the end. i feel that they just shoehorned any sort of complexity entirely out the window and are just looking for excuses that'll let them beat up korra or have korra beat up people without a second thought cus they are, like, totally evil and have no redeeming qualities or consequences attached to kicking their ass whatsoever. and then there was vaatu and i'd rather not talk about that.

[ ⋆ :: a ship(s) i have with my character ]

im not much of a romantic really. i especially hate trying to integrate ships with my muses either since im not a fan of just sticking people onto a character for the sake of it. i believe in chemistry foremost, but above that i always consider canon to be above anything and i'd rather not betray the character's roots by forcing them to pick someone they are not engaged with... but that's the problem with kill la kill, there's so many people that ryuko actively engages with and many people that have built a connection ryuko on some level that provokes emotion from her on a more intimate level cus the chemistry has been established, subtly or abruptly. ryuko has feelings for certain people and it makes it really hard not to encourage shipping on my blog cus it's not right to focus on a singular person and leave it at that when so many people have affected ryuko's life and come really close. that said, i have a bias towards ryumako, ryuketsu, and ryukiro. but ryumako above all else. shoot me.

[ ✗ :: a ship(s) i can't stand ]

ryuko and nui. hands fucking down. i loathe it, i despise it, i have absolute disdain towards it just as much as ryuko hates nui. it's the only ship in the whole show that i do not support and i do not approve. i can see the reasons behind it, with nui flirting her socks off with ryuko whenever and however she can, but nui does that to everyone to deliberately agitate them. it's been made very clear that nui loathes ryuko on multiple accounts due to the fact that isshin/soichiro, her dad, gouged nui's fucking eye out and ryuko DEFINITELY hates nui's guts for killing isshin/soichiro in the first place. there is no chemistry between them other than pure and utter hate for one and another, and they'd sooner kill the other than try to make out with them. i see no point in it and i find it absolutely appalling that people ship it.

i am very fond of coats and i mean seriously fond of them. i've got a whole closet filled with nothing but trenches, leather jackets, coats, kickass bomber jackets, and all of the sorts. in fact, im in the works of trying to order this bad boy as we speak cus im way too addicted to coats.

More unpopular opinions ohmygod But fff— I’m going to run out soon. Anyway. This might not be an unpopular opinion but I guess it’s like.. a question to throw out there or whatever? Like, sometimes I see people saying they are “unable to RP” before they don’t have their icons and I sit here wondering “wut?”. Like, yeah, icons are great and all but don’t let that stop you from writing or even taking up a character where resources to make icons are thin. Like, just write man.
