Not only did he look to crush Pacifica Radio through red baiting in 1964, but he later cowrote the legislation that banned LSD. It was the Dodd hearings that resulted in the end for many legitimate therapists, psychiatrists, counsellors, and scientific researchers who had been doing good work with LSD for fifteen years, dating back to 1950.
