Florida’s former Democratic senator Bill Nelson is being sworn in today as the administrator of NASA, and I was surprised to see that he was confirmed by unanimous consent in the Senate, no roll call. I bet you a million dollars Prick Scott the bald bastard wanted to vote against him just to rub salt in the wound after 2018. Rubio had already said he would vote for him and thought he was more than qualified for the job, but Scott has no respect for the man. In a roll call, he probably would have gotten 90 or 95 votes because of the connections he had in the senate, but a handful of hardline trumpfuckers would have voted against him, Cruz, Hawley, Scott (probably both Scotts, FL and SC), Tubberville, maybe McConnell and Graham
Well, no point getting mad at a hypothetical. What’s done is done; congratulations to Administrator Nelson! I still think the Artemis program is doomed to fail and will probably be pushed back or canceled, but it’s good to see it in halfway competent hands. The first missions back to the moon or Mars will be 100% private, not through NASA, I guarantee it.
