Just because a president was dead, it didn’t mean the the world stopped. Washington DC’s busy social calendar took a day off for her funeral, and then all was back as normal. The Republicans were no doubt left scrambling after Theresa’s spike in popularity, and naturally, the Democrat’s as well. And for the Democrats, it was time to make the next move. Which was in the form of thew new president’s proposal for gun control. He’s sipping on a glass of champagne when he spotted Vivian in the corner. Was she observing the crowd or keeping away from conversation? In either case, he decided to approach her, so that he could share in the favourable angle, watching everyone else. “All the Republicans seem up in arms over the president’s new bill about guns. Of course, everyone seems to forget about the Brady Bill after the assassination attempt on Reagan.” One could only wonder why they might care less about Theresa’s death.
