I am not sure if you were asked this before but how do you usually rank the turtles from favorite to least favorite? If you have a least favorite that is.

I don’t have a ‘least’ favorite? There isn’t a variant of the turtles that I actively dislike. They’re all portrayed well within each of their respective iterations.
I do have preferences though lol. Which varies depending on the variant. Here’s my current ranking system:
Favorite Turtle Overall: Donatello
Favorite Variant // Overall Character Depiction: 2012
2012:
Leo >= Donnie > Raph > Mikey
Note: I’ve been consuming a LOT of 2012 Leo propaganda recently. Ranking heavily influenced by Yuzurina’s “Planet 9” on ao3. Biased for good reason. Everyone go read it.
2018:
Donnie > Leo > Mikey > Raph
(“Make him say yessssssah….say yesssssssah”)
2007:
Donnie > Mikey > Raph > Leo (I’m sorry the scene w/ Don in tech support makes me laugh)
2024/bay:
Donnie > Mikey > Leo > Raph
2003:
Mikey > Donnie > Leo > Raph
(This was very hard. They’re all nearly equal for me. Really like this Raph especially.)
Classic / 1987:
Raph >= Donnie >= Leo >= Mikey
(Raph gets the best lines imo. “D-D-Donatellooo…it says ‘do not enterrrr’)
Note: They’re all even here. The classic is cute but they don’t have too much variation going on.
Mutant Meyhem:
Leo > Mikey > Donnie > Raph

I know there are more, but these are basically the main guys who have enough character development for notable differences. I don’t write for them all because of how the characters have varying mental development.
Like, Mutant Meyhem is good imo but they’re like babies to me. Wee guys. Little lads I wish to put in my pocket and shield from the world. So I won’t write for them because they are my children.
Then we have 2012/Bay/2018 and to me those dudes have just been through it. Full on cracked by the time they’re young adults that mentally they’re in their wise years. Bay!Raph has cracked a beer in secret, not caring a damn for Leo’s ‘no alcohol’ rule. 2012 Raph committed to the grandpa armchair in the farmhouse arc. 2018 Donnie has made nuclear weapons and would be the youngest person alive to earn a Nobel Prize if he could. 2012 Donnie has performed many under the table surgeries. Thus, I can and will put them through their paces.
