Sendak x Reader: Druid's Mistake (Fluff)

Haxus had sent an urgent message to me saying that he required my assistance with Commander Sendak. Apparently something happened and he doesn't either have time to handle it or he needs help. I am a simple prisoner so the fact he called on me for help is more than confusing. Sighing as the guards shoved me towards the door to the Commanders' office, I lightly knocked my knuckles on the door.
"You may enter, (Y/n)." Haxus called out, his voice gave away that he was struggling with something. Instant regret filled my gut as I stepped in, quickly closing the door behind me. 'What if this is a trap?' I question myself as I turn to face Haxus who is sitting rather tense in the Commander's chair. Haxus seemed to relax now that I was in the room, as he slid further into the Commanders' chair in exhaustion.
"How can I be of help?" I questioned stepping towards him. He gave a gesture for me to sit in a chair across from him. Sighing he leaned forward placing his elbows on the desk. He seemed to think on what he would say about his situation for a moment before just shaking his head.
"There was a fight that broke out between guards, the Commander, and a few druids. I'm not sure of all the details yet but one thing is obvious-" Haxus was cut off by a small roar echoing throughout the room. I jumped at the sound before looking around for whatever the source of the small sound was. It sounded like a defensive kitten, though it had a touch of aggression.
It may have been a small but there was a certain power behind it. A roar that carried authority to it, almost like a leader would sound like. It was one anyone would recognize, Sendak. I was quick to look to Haxus for an explanation of the sound. He saw my look which made him sigh again as he rubbed his face with his hands.
"One of the druids used their magic on Commander Sendak and, um... Okay it turned him back to a young kit. To of which he has done nothing but cause chaos since. When he was turned into a kit, his missing eye and arm returned to normal, so I figured since the Commander and you spent time together you wouldn't mind helping." Haxus sighed as he finished talking only to yelp and jump up holding his now bleeding arm.
"BITING IS RUDE!!" He barked as he turned around to look at Sendak who in turned hissed and bared his fangs at him. 'Even as a kit he doesn't like Haxus.' I thought with a bit of a laugh. Sendak looked at me before his fluffy ears dropped back with a guilty look. He tried to appear like he did nothing wrong as he gave a small purr followed by a little chirp.
"Come here." I said laughing with my hands out for him. He slowly stepped into my reach where I picked him up and placed him in my lap. Reaching down to pet him once he was comfortable in my lap, Haxus was about to say something. Though stopped as soon as my hand made contact to his ear, he leaned in closer and began to purr loudly.
"Well at least he likes you." Haxus huffed rubbing where Sendak bit him and looking to see how bad it was. I chuckled a bit before looking to him, even though Haxus can mess things up he is really trying to look out for Sendak.
"Do you know how long this will last?" I asked feeling Sendak snuggle closer to me for warmth, his little chest vibrating with his purrs. Haxus sighed shaking his head as he stepped in front of the desk, now leaning against it.
"I don't but I have it set up so that you have access to the kitchen and his quarters, though I'm sure you already have access to that." Haxus knew of Sendak and I meeting up at night. Most nights were for comfort for the both of us but other nights were much more that simple touches. Nodding I looked down at the small kit in my arms purring and oddly content exactly where he was. Looking back up to Haxus who simply shook his head mumbling something about me having Sendak wrapped around my finger. Smiling and stood only to have Sendak jolt, look up at me, and crawl up to my shoulder.
"Do kits normally do this?" I questioned as Sendak nuzzled heavily into my neck purring and chirping rather loudly once again. Haxus turned to see what I was asking about before he gave a heavy sigh. As soon as Sendak looked at him, Haxus gestured for him to get down.
"Some do but he was never known to do such a thing. When a kit shares a close bond with someone they tend to climb on them to be with them wherever that person goes. Vocalizing their comfort around that person, which means he imprinted on you." He said stepping forward and grabbed Sendak by the scurf making him growl, "At least act like a Commander!" Haxus growled, narrowing his eyes at him. Sendak quickly hissed and scratched Haxus's arm making Haxus yelp loudly and drop Sendak.
The guards ran in, thinking I attacked Haxus only to see their Commander leap up to my shoulder and hiss at them. I couldn't help but laugh at his behavior, he was definitely protective even as a kit. Placing my hand on Sendak's back as I began making my way to his quarters.
Placing Sendak on the bed, I gave him a smile telling him to stay before heading to his bathroom. Every time I'd visit him, he would have me bathe so I didn't smell of blood or sweat while we spent time together. It was kind of him to put spare clothes in here for me, not only do I get a nice bath but I also get clean clothes. Running hot water into the tub, I let my hand feel the temperature while I waited for it to fill. A head nuzzling into my side got my attention. I laughed as he continued flinching away since it tickled, reaching down I lightly began rubbing behind his ear.
"You always tell me to clean up before I do anything, so you have to let me clean up." I said with a smile as he now looked up at me, his eyes turning to slits when he nipped me.
"Ow! No, that hurt!" I scold him while rubbing my arm. Looking at it I could see a bruise forming where he nipped me. Sighing I turned the water off, stood and got undressed, lightly stepping in the water. Sighing at the nice hot water that melted my sore and tense muscles, a mewl got my attention quickly.
Sendak was looking at the water than back to me, his ears back and his little nubby tail wagging. I made sure to undress him before lifting him into my arms and easing him into the bath with me. He stiffened for a moment while I lightly rubbed water into his fur, before relaxing and purring into me.
"You know, you are pretty cute as a kit. Even if you scratch and bite a lot more than you used to." I said playing with his fur, smiling at him I began to clean us up. I grabbed a towel and began to dry him off first lightly rubbing his face, I got him dressed than got myself dry and dressed.
Picking him up I went to make us food to eat which he fought with me about before I got him to settle down. After we ate I laid down with him, he snuggled his head under my chin while his hands played with my shirt and his tail just wagging away.
"Sendak I know you don't really care for words, since you prefer actions but I love you." I whisper lightly petting him as I drifted to sleep.

A deep rumbling sound woke me up, a soothing vibration kept me content in the sheets. Sighing I pressed closer without thinking, muscular arms wrapped around me.
"Little One, are you awake?" Sendak's voice called to me. Yawning I lightly nodded, before freezing. 'The spell wore off?" I questioned pulling back some to look up at him. Sure enough he is back to himself except his eye and arm were still there.
"Little One, you were right. I don't care much for words but those words I do care for." He purring placing his forehead against mine, a sign of affection. It took me a moment to place what words he meant for before it finally clicked.
"I love you, Sendak." I say placing a kiss to his nose before nuzzling against him. He gave me a laugh nuzzling back into me as he placed kisses on my cheeks and lips.
"I love you as well, Little One. Stay in my quarters with me from now on, I don't want you fighting anymore." He said licking my cheek. Puzzled I looked up at him, looking for answers as to why he didn't want me fighting.
"Sendak are you feeling okay??" I asked checking for a fever or some kind of sickness. He chuckled and nodded, I slowly placed my hands against his chest.
"I'm fine, I was just thinking back when that damn druid turned me back to a kit. You didn't even know what to do with me and yet you did perfect. You would make a perfect mate and a wonderful mother, if you were interested of course." He said rubbing his hand along my side before sliding it down to rub my stomach. The more I thought about it, more comfortable with the idea I was. Smiling I placed my hand over his, looking up into his eyes.
"I'd love to be your mate and mother to your kits." I said smiling brightly as I nuzzled into him laughing when he licked my cheek and placed his hands on my sides. Rolling me on to my back, he began to kiss and nip at my neck. Moaning softly I lowered my hand to bring his shirt off, which he happily got rid of. As he left marks along my neck, I ran my hands down from his shoulders, to his sides, and finally to his tail.
Groaning as I lightly played with his tail, he lowered his waist to mine where I could easily feel his excitement. He pulled back slightly and pulled my shirt away, than continued to leave marks on my skin. Letting anyone who saw me know that I was taken and not to be messed with.
Our little moment of happiness was crushed by Haxus rushing in, talking about how he can't stand leading the group anymore. Haxus froze when he saw both Sendak and I shirtless, Haxus got even more stiff when he caught a whiff of Sendak's aroused scent. He knew he messed up but wasn't sure how to fix it or what he should do. The look of fear of Haxus's face when Sendak growled will forever be the best thing I've seen.
Haxus bolted down the hall, not wanting Sendak to catch him. Sendak shook his head before leaning to cover me from anyone who passed by. Thankfully as he gave me a small purr, Thace made a comment about standing guard outside his door before closing it. Sendak now let out pleased purrs as he nuzzled me, making me laugh.
"This is why I hate Haxus. He never knocks, he never thinks things through." Sendak said with a bit of a growl, before pulling back to look at me. I smiled softly at him before pulling my shorts away.
"Kill him later. I believe we were working on some kits?" I asked lightly rubbing his ear, which he leaned into my touch. He gave me a soft laugh before looking at me, a gentle looking in his eye that only I could see.
"That we were, remind me to thank Thace for this." He mumbled as he went back to leaving even more marks than before. I later heard Haxus was badly hurt and Thace was promoted, he was to guard me for the time being. Haxus apologized of course which I told him it was fine while hugging him.
