I hope Mr. Scar Goodtimes gets to go to space, I can’t think of a better person to go to the moon :>
Video description below the cut!
I’m new to making these so if y’all could tell me what I’m doing right and wrong, that’d be much appreciated! I didn’t put some descriptions of the pictures he put onscreen because I think that it’d make the transcription harder to understand.

Scar: “To my audience, this is my application to join the DearMoon mission.”
[Cut to a picture of the flight plan for DearMoon. The flight plan includes the spaceship launching, going around the Earth, around the moon, and landing back on Earth roughly 5 days and 23 hours later.]
Scar: “The first all-civilian crewed mission to the moon onboard a starship.”
[The video cuts back to Scar talking to the camera.]
Scar: “To the DearMoon team, to MZ, hello my name is Ryan. I go by GoodTimesWithScar here on YouTube and I am a disabled content creator here in the United States. I’d like to join you on your voyage to the moon to share, through my platform of photography and videography on my channel, the human spirit of exploration through the DearMoon mission. To the engineering triumph of the starship.
But there is an important message interlined in that, that I’d like to share, and that is: there is no wheelchair in space. Wheelchairs don’t exist in space. Space frees you from the bonds of this Earth and that a person with disability should have access to space in this new era. We’re all inspired by Apollo to the shuttle era, but in this era of starship, it is open to anyone and everyone no matter their abilities. And, that is the message I wanna share through DearMoon with the world. To inspire people with disabilities, to show people out there that a person with disabilities can do what everyone else can do but maybe in a different way, and there is nothing wrong with that at all!
And, that’s the message that I’d like to share with the world through the DearMoon mission and my platform. And, that it’s time to leave the confines of Earth, the gravity that holds us in our chairs, and to let those wheelchairs go behind as we travel the cosmos through starship and with you on DearMoon. And, that’s the message that I would like to share with you on the mission, DearMoon, and... I’ve already got the flight suit by the way! Look at that, pretty snazzy!”
[He gestures at his jacket.]
Scar: “I even got the uh—the glasses.”
[He looks away from the camera for a second and puts on sunglasses.]
Scar: “I’m strapped in.”
[He puts on his wheelchair strap. A click is heard.]
Scar: “And, I am ready to light this candle to the moon and join you. So, thank you for watching.”
