"There's nothing like dancing with family."
I'd like to title this: The Most Intense Dance Weekend of My Life - but who are we kidding. I'm sure there have been much worse, and I simply cannot remember it. Regardless!
Thursday night, it all started. Got picked up by my Socal Main Stacks loves (JP, Jaymie, Keisha, & Mariana) at the delusional time of 3:30 in the morning, and proceeded to uncomfortably ktfo in the back while others drove me. heh. #princesstreatment! Granted, after 2 hours, Jaymie & JP moved to the back and the crazy bitches proceeded to sing and dance to the most of their abilities AKA, I could only pretend to be asleep and punch Jaymie every 10 minutes or so.
Friday morning, scared the shit out of the boyfriend (UNINTENTIONALLY!), convinced Alex Huang to buy me a Mint Mojito Ice Coffee from Philz (heh), hung out at the [M] table, Oakland airport, Pappy's, Racha's, lovin', andddddddd - here's the kicker. Friday night, drove to San Mateo for a 6 hour practice. A 6 HOUR PRACTICE. Granted, it was efficient as all hell and major claps to Senior Stacks for bringing Norcal, Socal, and NY together to create a set to be performed the next day - but I was exhausted.
Saturday, wake up at 9 for Prelude Norcal. #WHOGONDELIVER? #SeniorStacksGonDeliver! Practiced all day, bugged Yeezy, bugged Yafs, didn't let Yeezy do my makeup, missed house tours, failed with my hair, THEN HAD A BLAST ON STAGE!
Okay I'm having a really difficult time writing this post. I think I am officially just incapable of words. I feel no need or desire to write. (I'm doing a great job at complaining though. Whoo!) So basically, all it is is - I LOVE SENIOR STACKS! Main Stacks Alum, y'all inspire me and make me want to be better. Watch the video.
That shit was all put together in 1 6-hour practice. Live it. Love it.
