43. what’s your take on spicy foods?

i have a mediocre spice tolerance but i loooove spicy foods. the more they make me cry the better <3

46. favorite holiday film?

i haven't watched any in a while, but i always loved home alone and nightmare before christmas as a kid!

5. what color are your eyes?

grey with spots of blue and green

this is an old photo. the colors are all blurred so overall it appears to be more blue than they are in person. sorry if the close-up is unsettling

Name: Elanil Lavellan

Age: late 30s

Some background: Clan Lavellan moved through a lot of Thedas and Elanil was learning to be a healer for the clan. Her curiosity for the mind, fade, spirits but especially death, became apparent to the clan when they stopped near Nevarra and she would often sneak in to the Necropolis to watch the priests perform rituals to bind spirits. In the Necropolis Elanil met a kind priest of the temple who was surprised by her curiosity and taught her to respect the dead, somewhat in a similar way her clan had taught her.

Soon enough the clan continued their travels but Elanil wouldn’t forget the priest’s teachings and would read more into spirits, the fade and of course, necromancy. When she became the Inquisitor many tried to tell her she shouldn’t practice it anymore as it wasn’t seen in a good light by a lot of people, but she still continued to practice it and she insisted on doing the rights for all of the inquisition’s fallen soldiers
