i was never obsessed with them, and truth be told at first i could not tell the difference between them and nsync. but they have grown WITH their fans and they went from pop to light rock/pop and they sing about stuff that's relevant to their lifetime fans and they aren't even obnoxious about it

i just still like what they're producing

did you not see ST popularity explode after the 2009 one came out? there were like ten trillion fics on FFnet, haha. it got sooo popular.

to be honest, i kinda tried to hide myself from the fanficions and fangirling because i just cannot quite deal with it. star trek (and star wars too)'s always been this holy father-daughter thing between me and my dad back then and yeah. good memories. and i know whatthe majority of tumblr is making out of basically all things so nopenopenope.
