Without gluten, you can still enjoy the classic flavors of Quiche Lorraine. This version doesn't have gluten, but it still tastes great and is great for people who are sensitive to gluten.
Ingredients: 1 gluten-free pie crust. 6 slices of bacon, cooked and crumbled. 1 cup grated Gruyre cheese. 4 large eggs. 1 cup lactose-free milk. 1/2 teaspoon salt. 1/4 teaspoon black pepper. 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg. 1/4 cup chopped fresh chives.
Instructions: Turn on your oven and heat it up to 375F 190C. Put the gluten-free pie crust in a pie dish that is 9 inches 23 cm across and set it aside. Add the eggs, lactose-free milk, salt, pepper, and ground nutmeg to a medium-sized bowl and mix them together using a whisk. Cover the bottom of the pie crust with the cooked bacon and grated Gruyere cheese. The egg mix should be poured over the bacon and cheese in the pie crust. The quiche should be baked in a hot oven for 30 to 35 minutes, or until it is set and the top is a little golden. Take the quiche out of the oven and let it cool down for a while. Add some chopped fresh chives on top to make it look nice. Cut up your tasty gluten-free Quiche Lorraine and serve it.
