Under the Weather | Wally and Yellow
School was... proving to be quite a different challenge than Wally had been expecting. On the one hand, it was exhausting. Not physically exhausting like traveling and training had been, but mentally exhausting. On the other hand, everything he was learning was fascinating. It made him want to be a student and just take classes forever.
Socializing in the midst of all that had been hard, though. Most days Wally wanted to come back to his room and take a nap, do his work, and sleep more. He wasn't suited for staying up late with some of the other students, so he ended up missing a fair amount of potential chances to bond.
It was the weekend, and he had managed to finish his homework with a lot of time to spare for once. But now the problem arose that he had no idea who to talk to. His mind kept wandering back to Yellow, how sweet and kind and genuine she was. Would it be weird to visit his professor as a social gesture? Before he had allowed himself time to think about it, he had already let his feet carry him to her door.
He knocked softly. "Hello? Are you there?"
