It had been a last minute cram session for tomorrow's test in Crystal's World Religions class, one that had lasted for a miraculous 4 hours, give or take an hour itself giving to breaks. While not one for studying, Crystal was serious about her grades, so when she realized she had completely forgotten about the test she had rushed over to NUM's library for resources and material to study.
What she also forgot about was that the weather forecast for that night was a rain.
Walking with a sense of satisfaction instilled into her being, Crystal has just left the library to head to the bus terminal and head back to her apartment in downtown Nimbasa. With notebooks piled into her messenger bag, her steps halted when a drop of rain suddenly landed on her nose.
Looking up, the sky painted a dark gray, she felt more rain drops begin to fall. As if on cue, thunder cracked in the distance. Lips forming into a displeased frown, she cursed under her breath as more rain drops fell; and what started as a light drizzle became a heavy downpour. Running towards a tree to hide underneath from the rain, a few drops still came through the leaves to land on her soaked hair.
"Are you kidding me," she whined, squating down, clutching her wet messenger bag to her chest. Sighing sadly, Crystal regretted not bringing her umbrella.
