does robert react specially when visi asks if he jerks off in blue (ingame i know the most chosen answer was "all the time" which makes me giggle) but also your take on it?

Damn I always pick the "no" option so damn i guess I'll have to replay that section to see what the difference is there...

But yeah Robert would react a lot more visceraly. As Royd is about to say that that's nasty since he has to work on the suit, Robert ends up cutting him off by accident as he goes still and practically snarls at Visi about how disgusting of a question it is.

Like full on "I get that you like to fuckin joke Visi, but NEVER ask me something like that again. That's disgusting. " And all that's going through Roberts head is that Blue was alive and how weird and fucked it would be to jerk off inside the chest cavity of what was essentially a secondary parental figure for a significant portion of his life.

But on the outside he's got that dead fish eyes look he gets in canon when he's pissed and when Visi asks him what the actual fuck his issue is, he scrambles and manages to bark out that he wasn't particularly keen on jerking off somewhere that was a constant reminder of his dead father.

I can't decide if he'd apologise, try to play it off as something like "Look, the suit was one of the last pieces of my Father I had and its just scrap now. I get touchy about it." Or would just not acknowledge it and have Visi tell him he's an absolute dickhead and that Blazer wants to see him...

Sentimech Chapter 1

Chapter 1: Who's baby is that, and why is it Robbie's?

Robert catches his reflection in the broken windshield of a nearby car as he leans his head against the new armour plating on BLUE's arm, aware of the blood from the surface headwound on his temple dirtying it. Cringing at the headache that's still thumping to his cardiac rhythm that has just been exacerbated by an injury hitting cold hard metal, he tries to take stock. He looks half feral, blood running down his temple, his nose and mixed into the general spittle on his teeth mixed in with all the grime and bruises he's been collecting for the past... eighteen or so hours. He thinks his work shirt might also be a bit ripped up, which is really unfortunate since Robert only has two of them and given the Red Ring just tried to burn Torrance down he doesn't think the laundromat down the street is going to be open in the near future.

"So... this is Blue?" -- AKA: What if the Astral Pulse made the Mecha Man suit sentient and said sentience was stored in the Astral Pulse itself? OR Give a man with crippling guilt and sense Of self issues a mech with crippling guilt and sense of self issues!

Elliot's tone is back to curt, and Robbie watches the other as he manages to both sneer and gaze up at Astral like he never wants to look away, "Machines are tools Robbie, they aren't heroes. They just help them." Robert has fully pulled back from Astral now, digging his face back into Robbie's chest. Tipping his chin down to look at his boy it almost looks like he's hiding. Robertson's don't hide though, so Robbie shifts his hold on Robert till his son can't hide anymore. The squish of his cheek against Roberts sternum. He looks back at Elliot, who's still watching Astral. "Like your augments?" He snipes, unable to help himself, "You haven't plugged anything into your skull yet Elliot, but once you do when do you start being a machine?" "That's not the same." Finally, Elliot looks at him. His scowl is as prominent as the twitch of his left hand ever since he'd had to tear that failed augment out of his wrist. "A human being isn't a ship of fucking Theseus, Robbie. I started as a person and I'll stay one, a prosthetic doesn't make someone less of a person." "It doesn't," he agrees, shifting to face the other man completely, "but now you're moving the goalposts. There's a big difference between needing a new leg or hearing aids and trying to reinforce your hands so you can punch shit harder."

To fully explain the dichotomy between Robert 'I am a hero and that means i need to be serious and give this my all' Robertson 3rd and Blue the sentient mech in my Sentimech fic, is that whilst at any time Robert is doing serious hero stuff, Blue is running a playlist with stuff like this on it:

is it a consequence of Robbie 'who let this man raise a child, he's building a legacy not a functioning human being' Robertson and his subpar parenting, or am I pushing my autistic Robert agenda? Who knows.

I have many thoughts about Chase and his hero-boss-adult figure in his life-opp in terms of roberts health and well being relationship with Robbie, but Robert's eight here so he just. doesn't know anything about all that.
