TianJiuyuan idea I've had in the fic drafts for awhile now;
Shen Yuan is transmigrated/technically reincarnated just as Airplane is into the world of PIDW, except poor him he ended up as Su Xiyan.
Socially transitioned as Su Yuan he still ends up meeting and falling for Tianlang Jun -- embarrassingly for him the Demon Emperor has similar literature taste and it starts with shen yuan hitting him and terrorising him for his shit taste ala Peerless Cucumber style only to realise he had made a grave error when Tianlang Jun had told him he hadnt expected him to be so open considering human social propriety, and unfortunately like his son Tianlang Jun has NO issue acting pathetic in order to get what he wants especially if it's Su Xiyan/Su Yuan -- with them not explicitly or binding in either of their homes getting married but it's like, they've done the bows they just don't have the documents you know?
So one thing leads to another, and Su Yuan falls into sex pollen and freaked by the way the Palace Master acts with him he resolves to wait it out in a cave or die he literally doesn't care as long as he isn't back at Huan Hua. Now you'd think this is where Tianlang Jun comes in and Binghe is conceived, but no. This is where Shen, recently given a courtesy name of Qingqiu, Jiu arrives, also stuck in the same cave. Yuan has been sex pollened and Jiu has been paranoid pollened, everything is turned up to 11 for them both and the first thing they do after spotting each other and deeming each other as incapacitated and in no rush to hurt them is to go "here's the boundary in the cave. Do not cross, ever."
This line is very important, Jiu realising that the sex pollen is more painful for su Yuan than like horny begrudging shares resources he goes out to get because fine this IS THE HEAD DISCIPLE of Huan Hua and like, if they both get out of this it would fuck his position as head disciple of qing jing if he didn't at least try to help him. They are throwing shit st each other across the boundary line, even fragile stuff. The line is very important.
After about day 3 of as little verbal contact as possible and literally sweating out sex pollen, Su Yuan has resorted to reviewing the sheer trash that Tianlang Jun counts as titillating erotic literature outloud. Shen Qingqiu was initially worried this was like a prelude to Su Xiyan taking matters into his own hands so to speak but it appears he's getting himself worked up in a different way altogether. Shen Qingqiu starts commenting on it, eventually asking if Su Yuan thinks it's so awful why the fuck does he own it then? Su Yuan reveals its his ahem boyfriends/technically husbands. Shen Jiu is then like well why tf are you hiding in a fucking cave if you have a husband (paranoia pollen is ramping up rn, is this guy hiding from a husband who's hunting him down? Does he need to enforce the line against more than just his cave roommate now, how many more traps does he need to set up?) Surely you have options.
Su Yuan, shly, admits that they've not done that and also dude sex pollen is not conducive to consent, especially when there are sexless alternatives and medicine but dual cultivation is pushed as the only option. Is it more efficient? Sure. But also he's not about to call his husband back from a expedition (what he's calling Tianlangs theatre trips) just bc hes a bit forcefully horny.
They remain in the cave and keep botching at each other and by the time a week and a half has passed and both their pollens have worn off they've not crossed the sacred line bc the line is very important but they have shared messenger talisman codes and resolved to find the absolute worst pieces of fiction (or even student essays) and commiserate. As they come crawling out of their cave, zuzhi-lang finds them, smells the pollen but no sex on su Yuan and is immediately concerned but this other human smells like different pollen altogether and also sir, please come get this ones venerable uncle, he's been terrorising the local village because his su Yuan wasn't there and the local acting trope have more confidence now than ever. It is not deserved.
A week and a half later than he should be to check in with his fellow students on a nighthunt, shen qingqiu asks to tag along. They agree to help each other lie and say they both fell into a secret realm and have spent the last week and a half fighting their way through various pollen plants. Su Yuan has nobody to report to but having Cang Qiong back uo his dissaperances diverts suspicion from the palace master. They get to the town, Cang Qiong are beefing with Huan Hua. Huan Hua are accusing CQ of stealing their da shixiong, CQ are accusing Huan Hua of holding shen jiu captive.
Hilariously the pair of them, bedraggled looking like they've been dragged through a bush backwards and escorted very a very hoity toity looking young master towards the local porn eccentric reciting racy poetry in the street with the local acting troupe, ignore their respective shidimen. They're called out to and clipped and clearly with more important things to do are told politely to fuck off and go back to their jobs they'll explain later. Said shidimen disperse and Zuzhilang gets su Yuan to help calm tianlang Jun down bc 'uncle there are 2 sects here, look one of them is stood with su Yuan right now, please for the love of the Abyss be less obvious.'
Tianlang gets very serious when he smells the pollen on su Yuan, has thermal events explained to him, attemptsti invite shen qingqiu to be a third to them, as a joke to the horror of everyone else involved in that conversation. Shen Qingqiu calls him a pervert, and swears the next time they meet he'll cut tianlang juns dick off if he talks to him like that again.
As they watch him leave tianlang Jun says that once more he didn't anticipate some humans to be so forward.
Time passes, su Yuan and shen qingqiu meet each other more times and grow closer, shen qingqiu is subjected to tianlang juns increasingly more serious offers to join as a third. He refuses every time. If Su Yuan was not so obviously enamoured with his husband he'd try and steal su Yuan but as it is, he's better than that. Also su Yuan just looks so tired at the question each time and he's convinced that the poor man doesn't want shen qingiqu or a third so he thinks the poor man is being forced to humour the question. Su Yuan just can't believe he let tianlang Jun bait him into admiting he liked shen qingqiu and woulsnt mind 'if it was qingqiu'. (He's very much giving "he wasn't the brutal dictator of Nicaragua when I dated him" vibes with this one guys) . This continues for years, and even though all three of them know it they all pretend that shen qingqiu hasn't done his three bows for them just the same as they've done his. Su Yuan would argue bowing to Yue Qingyuan at an intersect meeting with the knowledge this was Shen Qingqius sworn brother doesn't count, tianlang who argued that as a married couple Yuans bow coutned for the pair of them says otherwise.
Time passes, Binghe is conceived. Su Yuan sends a message to shen qingqiu as soon as he knows that he thinks something is about to go horribly wrong. Que the so called betrayal of tinalang Jun and his sealing.
Shen Qingqiu can't be too obvious but knows that su Yuan has just... gone missing. He's been missing before tainlang Jun was ever tricked into coming to the mountain, and he's not been seen since. Any request he sends, 2 of which they were framed as 'disciple su and I are writing partners is he alright????' Are basically sent back with a dismissive fuck off stop asking.
He uses talismans that he's had keyed into su Yuan since he started giving off wife who dies in an action film to advance the male main characters emotional growth vibes, and manages to find Su Yuan just in time for him to see him collapse as he's giving birth to binghe. Zuzhi lang, who had been seeing if shen qingqiu turned uo since the letter mentioned him also (tho the Palace Master thinks that sqq didn't know and was being used as a cover by SY) and was waiting to see if thr 2 really had betrayed hi uncle, arrives just in time to see SQQ freaking the fuck out as huan Hua disciples close in. Stuck in demonic snake form ZHL kills the disciples and has to return back to his uncle and SQQ helps SY get to a village to hide with bby binghe. sY who has realised this is the MF protagonist he just gave birth to cries blood when they end uo in a village and are taken in by a kindly but sickly washer woman.
SY hides with the washer woman and works in secret in the village as a guard and sometimes every job kind of man and SQQ keeps in contact with him, through the network of women in the brothels so he does still have a skeevy reputation bc of the roundabout ways he has to keep in contact with SY for the most part. Binghe grows uo with his dad, and grandma, and a distant other father?? Who doesn't like it if he calls him that except as his baba explains he does like it it's just that binghe has ANOTHER father, his a-die and fuquin feels wrong that he's got the title and not binghes a-die.
Tianlang jun is at the very least assured that his husbands didn't betray him, and zuzhi he truly appreciates you reading his porn to him but dear God can you not get SY to think up some kind of talisman or another bc hes dying to hear his husbands voices . Legit going insane down here pls. Zuzhi lang searches for Su Yuan, who still has the pairs blood mites and gets scared shitless by toddler binghe picking up his fucked up snake for like he weighs nothing and showing him off to his grandma plus his fuqin who, not having seen zuzhi like this, thinks he's some kind of monster. Only to be saved last minute by SY coming in who reveals he's been planning on how to get TLJ out but that it will take a long time.
Given that binghe is the spitting image of su xiyan in canon, the same is obviously true here, so it's clear he's SYs son but theres hardly anything of his father in his faceb this young and SQQ explains his plan to hide SY in plain sight by admitting to his shizun (who's just about to ascend soon) that he's married and his partner has a kid, so Binghe human be put on the official peak lord family registry so when he's old enough he can come to QJ and hide there.
Plot goes as one would expect with a timeskip to binghe going to QJ, all the peaklords having heartattacks bc that is very clearly late huan Hua head disciple su yuans son and SQQ is claiming thats his kid and fuck THAT raises questions about why they imprisoned Tianlang Jun when SQQ lies (and uses the actual PIDW description of binghe being found by the washerwoman) and says he had an emergency talisman go off from Su Yuan the day binghe was born and managed to find binghe after he'd been taken in by an old washerwoman who's he's been financially supporting all these years discreetly so nobody tied his son to him due to who his other father is.
Around the same time as the Demon invasion of Cang Qiong (bc Airplane is here too, ofc) tianlang jun is broken from his prison. It wasn't shen qingqiu he was very firmly in the lingxi caves, he was spotted as the invasion was happening dragging out liu qingge kicking and screaming after saving his shidi by the skin of his teeth due to his dual cultivation with SY providing a needed boost. It certainly wasn't binghe, he's like 14 and not even that as SQQs son he's been watched like a fucming hawk. The boys not even left Qing Jing in the year his father has been in closed cultivation never fucking mind getting through Huan Hua wards and breaking the Demon Emperor free. Rumours circulate that it was Su Yuan who did it. But most people think he's dead by now if not being kept in huan Hua Palace so it can't be true bc hyan Hua palace wouldn't allow such rumours of their incompetence to keep one person under lock and key to spread if there was any truth to it.
SY and TLJ are having their reunion, yet another honeymoon in the Demon realm reconquering the south. It takes a few years till the immortal alliance conference when binghe gets his heritage revealed via mobei jun where Shen Qingqiu has to give a quick run down of your baba and a die will be on the other side waiting for you binghe. Fuquin needs you to go down there, but because it's the ultimate angst time, YQY and LQG arrive too soon and so SQQ has to apologise too quiet for anyone but binghe (who he's got in a hold by the collar) to hear as he throws his own son into the Abyss. Except its clearly not his son because the boys got heavenly Demon traits. So LqG and YQY think they've just watched SQQ throw his recently discovered not son into the Abyss and try to console him but obviously SQQ is so fucking angry, because his son was fucking terrified and had looked so betrayed, but he has to believe it was for a good cause.
Swears the 2 to secrecy, explains that he still raised binghe.even if he's not his by blood that child is his. Very possessive, very xiao jiu is YQYs pov and whatever that works.
Binghe is incredibly betrayed bc he didn't see the other Peak lords too focused on a sensory overload, so thinks SQQ thought he was taking too long and threw him away. He fights his way through the Abyss and as he's about to claim xin mo his parents turn up and it's the first time he's seen his baba in years and he bursts into tears and who tf is this oh its a die? He hates a die now.
He goes into possessive mode, he doesn't care if adie was here first, this is HIS baba fuck off. Explains what SQQ did, and SY is so fucking angry thinking that SQQ actually threw binghe away before binghe explains more and he pieces together there must have been a reason to speed things up. It's been like. Two years, bomghe has joined his parents on their conquering world tour.
SY and Airplane meet, spiderman meme, binghe starts internally screaming about people trying to steal his mother bc SQH acts pathetic and like a hamster and you wouldn't hit a little hamster would you bro? Tianlangjun knows this isn't the same as when SY did it to him but he's getting a bit hot at the collar. Mobei Jun is shaking with rage till he realises the emperor is telling his kid to calm down this is just play fighting, like between kits, and it's like oh okay.... is that why Qinghua hasn't noticed his advances? He thinks mobei is trying to form platonic bonds whilst simultaneously expressing romantic intent!?
SQQ manages to sneak away to see TLJ, SY and Binghe. Is greeted with a son that tells him to fuck off, TLJ who asks if he wants to fuck and SY who would like a holiday from his family please. Family TLC commences. Binghe heatsvthe explanation but is still angry. The anger and thoughts of what he'd say to SQQ when he saw him again kept him going in the Abyss its hard to just let go.
SQQ good back to the peaks, binghe having overheard His parents talking about how theyre gonna get back, at the Palace Master eventually decides his first rebelion as Prince is to commandeered staff (shang qinghua) and infiltrate Huan Hua ala canon.
As one would expect, having his mothers face, ge gets the full force ofcreepy Palace Master. His plans hit the first snag when ning yingying spots him and tells him shes got to tell shixun he's still alive.
