So, I came across a tweet explaining about the sentinelverse the other day. I had read one or two Korean BL webtoons set in a universe like that, and they were pretty interesting. Basically, there are people who possess remarkable super powers/abilities (Sentinels) and people who have to help channel said people (Guides) so that their powers can stay in check.
It had also listed some terminology, and when I saw the word "zone", I instantly thought of KnB in the sentinelverse. ^^;; So, here are my ships's roles:
- Kagami, a Sentinal/Kuroko, his Guide
- Akashi, a Sentinel/Furihata, his Guide
- Midorima, a Sentinel/Takao, his Guide
- Murasakibara, a Sentinel/Himuro, his Guide
- Aomine, a Sentinel, but Kise would be a special case being both Sentinel and Guide (if that's even possible).
Also, I think it'd be great if Mayuzumi was also a good candidate to be Akaahi's Guide, but Furihata matched higher. It's shocking to everyone. 😆
And of course, the drama of Kuroko once being Aomine's Guide...
wip status
small note! guideverse has a ton of iterations. this is just my version of playing in the sandbox. all these stories are dual pov and 18+ (open door).

An Interview with a Sentinel
Sentinelverse by Pandora who is awesome and epic and you should read up on sentinel melee :) hehe.
"Alright, it's on."
"Ugh, finally. I've got a lot of busywork later, this better be as 'necessary' as you say, or i swear i'l go down and beat the suits up there myself!" she emphasized.
"No need to worry, this shouldn't take long, just a few questions, and you're good to go."
Coppelia let out a sigh, as she looked dead in the eye at the camera sitting aside atop a stool.
"...Hmph."
Sentinel-Guide au
Sentinels differ from the general population as they have greater abilities in regards to physical strength, endurance, healing, and the sensitivity of their senses. However, their enhanced senses and use of their abilities can cause them to become ill and can eventually lead to their death when triggered hard enough. As an opposite of Sentinels, there are Guides- who aren’t different from the general public, but they have the power to pull the Sentinel away from that edge. Some Sentinels could survive without the guiding of a Guide, and Guides cannot guide all Sentinels (unless they are universal Guides). Some pairs are more compatible than others, and compatibility is key to form a bond. A bond allows for the Guide’s guiding to work twice as well on their Sentinel, but instead reduces their capacity to guide other Sentinels by half.
Canon wise, the boys all have out of normal teenager/human physical abilities so it made sense to me that this au would fit them well. Perhaps future parts could come by? With other characters or like a continuation? Who knows lmao
TW: canon typical violence, obsessive thoughts? It’s Gun and Samuel we’re talking about.
Characters included: Gun Park, Jake Kim, Samuel Seo (wow I have a type)
Masterlist
Gun Park
It was thrilling. Fighting was thrilling. It made Gun’s blood sing, and his heart race. The feeling of flesh under his fists, the impact of a hit against his cheek- The taste of blood- his or his opponent’s, it didn’t matter. And fighting others who could kill him? It made all his enhanced senses excited.
And now- as he was on top of you, fingers wrapped around your throat. You were there- wrong time, wrong place. But he had been told to clean up the area- courtesy of Choi.
He hadn’t given you much attention as you were in the edges of the area- silent and swerving away from the chaos he had caused. And he had thought you would be easy. He hadn’t expected you to fight him with this much vigour or strength.
It was thrilling. Maybe you were a Sentinel as he was. Maybe your abilities matched his own. Or Daniel’s. The younger boy provided him a great fight- one that let him use his Sentinel abilities to the maximum.
Your fingers clawed at his own and he could feel your feet kicking out at him. Gun felt a little disappointed at that. He had expected you to kick him off or push him away.
But- he released his hold on you when he felt the trickling feeling of warmth. Seeping through his fingertips and curling in his chest.
You took advantage of his momentary surprise and knocked him off of yourself. He let you do that. He let you scramble away from him, only flexing his fingers as he watched his bruises fade away real time.
The Original Sentinel TV Show
Someone made a movie style trailer for The Sentinel TV show (1996-1999), the origin of the Sentinel/Guide AU, aka the Little Black Dress of Fandom! Just look at Jim and Blair😍 (they were roommates)
i love tagging sentinelverse characters as "name" (sentinel title) i love that like 99% of them dont have last names (that 1% is amber but like it doesnt matter)
Sentinelverse Original Work
【Sentinelverse: The Future】 by Kliff_00
Would you believe that, in the year 2083, it’s better to be a Guide than a Sentinel? Twenty years ago the Neo Party was voted out and their Trigon Policy abolished, meaning Guides are no longer forced into pairs. But is there such a thing as true equality? Sentinels are the ones who need guiding—and in the wake of a fracturing society could the old regime be making a comeback? Follow Asher as he navigates this political landscape at an academy for special individuals just like him.
