╟☿↮    THEY HAD ALL become separated again. Rather than the few enemies that attacked them at a time, which they could usually handle alone, and even better as a team, were gone. They had been ambushed suddenly, in a foreign fighting field by what Mercury’s computer could hardly calculate as HUNDREDS. The wave of the hostile aliens flooded through, drowning them and causing the five senshi to separate. 

The genius stayed focused on her own battles, shooting one beam of water after another, one blast of blinding fog over and over again, panting by the time the monsters were weeded out. What she hadn’t thought of ( which she BLAMED herself for– she was the BRAINS of the group, she should have figured ) was that the numbers would be uneven. That Ami would get much less enemies than some of the others. 

Her eyes scanned the emptier battle field, only a dozen or so enemies were left that Venus && Mars were methodically handling. Then the calculative, tired, bright specks of blue landed on Makoto. 

            ❝ MAKO-CHAN! ❞

PANIC carried Ami’s shorter legs as she rushed to the other Senshi’s side, her now torn skirt and ribbons flowing out behind her as she shot one last beam at the enemy that had just managed to land a hit on Jupiter.

Ami threw herself on her knees and skidded slightly, carefully attempting to put her hands on the brunettes back, shoulders, neck, sides, all the places where she was wounded worst checking for anything FATAL. 

Unshed tears threatened to burn down the calculations Ami was trying so hard to do, worry and fear blurring the STEADY, calm, state of mind she was supposed to have as Sailor Mercury. As a doctor-to-be. As the FRIEND of the other girls. She couldn’t grip at the compartments in her mind that knew what to do, and her hands trembled lightly as she tried desperately to FOCUS.
