Huevember Day 1
Starting with something easy!! It’s Ruki and the Nisepanda from my favorite gag manga Senyuu. Watch it!!!
A redraw of that one panel of eruba/boss alba!!! i love him and ive never read senyuu+ before (i read the original 2? years ago)
mild senyuu manga spoilers under the cut:
THEY ARE HOMOSEXUAL
i didn't think i would like albatross as much as i do now... but i love it
give me one reason why senyuu is so underrated. ONE. give me a reason it shouldn't be more popular. give me a reason. YOU CANNOT.
i'm not very far into the senyuu webcomicー i've only read two chapters of it, although i have seen all the episodes of the season one anime. but, i have read the manga. volumes one through four, at least, and volume five up intil thirty eight.
and throughout all of that, i haven't found a single reason it shouldn't be more popular. it's a comedy manga, and a really good one at that. the characters are funny, it had good running jokes in the first two volumes, and the protagonist is a tsukkomori. granted, i might just be a big fan of tsukkomori (straight man) characters.
senyuu also surprisingly dark. it's a comedy, sure, but ross's backstory is a hell of a ride. speaking of ross, i need to talk about him. he's so freaking awesome??? aside from being a really good character comedy-wise, he's also badass. and sadistic. but his sadism is used in a comedic way, and it's utilized very well. not to mention he's freaKING CUTE
i also really like the plot concept. the demon king returns, so heros are sent out. but then a couple chapters later, the demon king joins the heros in sealing away the monsters she released. have i played too many video games that have made me like this trope? probably.
anyway, my point is that senyuu is a really good series! i definitely reccomend it. it's pretty family-friendly for the most part, although there is a masochist character and a lolicon. both character traits are played for comedic effect.
got a little lazy with the shading [screams]
