I was thinking about how Just Between Lovers shows that loss can manifests itself and affect people in so many different ways. 

Forgetting, like that wife who remarried and moved on, forcing herself to erase her first husband from her memory because she couldn’t mourn him properly anyway, because they couldn’t retrieve his body. 

Anger and resentment, like that investment bank guy who fought with Gang Doo, or like Joo Won. 

Self-destruction, like Gang Doo himself and like Moon Soo’s mom. 

The pretense to be fine, like Moon Soo and Jae Yong. 

Love despite everything, like that guy who wanted to have his wife’s dog’s name engraved next to hers on the memorial. 

It’s such a human story.

i get the impression that yoo taek doesn’t actually know that it wasn’t joo won’s father that was at fault for the collapsing of the mall, even though yoo jin clearly knows what’s up. 

also, it clears up the reason why joo won is so cold to yoo jin, but then says yoo taek isn’t a bad person but a person put in a position not suited for him despite all the snide remarks yoo taek throws at him

i think a part of yoo taek’s development will be discovering the truth and how he has just been a pawn in a larger scheme of things
