the fallen & the heroine
starter for @unfinishedjulyrain
his people called him the sky god. king of war and hunting. the son of isis and osiris. as mighty of a god he may be, there is also a limit to his powers and strength. it’s not uncommon for egyptian gods to fight amongst themselves, but never in a scale such as this. the sky was crying with him as it thunders; almost signifying that the powerful horus has been badly weakened. but what wounded him the most was the betrayal of those who he thought were his allies.
in the name of avenging his father’s death, horus had gone into war against his uncle. he was leading the fight and almost victorious until a friend had switched sides. why? horus has yet to know as there were more pressing matters at hand. an arrow made of the finest steel had pierced through his left eye and it took a lot of will power within him to remove it forcefully by himself. there was blood all over the floor and on his body.
the male struggled to keep his balance and falls onto the ground. back against the wall as he hides away from the enemies’ eyes. he had a single palm pressing onto the left eye socket, to stop the bleeding and to think of his next move.
where could he possibly go? and who would help him? he wonders.
if it wasn’t for that arrow, horus wouldn’t be hiding here like a beaten dog. but with his left eye gone, half of his powers had disappear. it would take a miracle for him to get out of here alive.
