She nervously bit on her lower lip as she once again checked her phone. Nothing. She could see the waiter walking towards her table once more. Please don't come here, she thought. But he did. "Are you ready to order yet miss?" He asked. She could see in his eyes that he felt sorry for her and she could feel her cheeks getting red. "I'll wait just a little more, I'm sure he will come" she smiled, trying to look confident though she herself was pretty sure by now that he would not show. She looked around, she could sense people looking at her with pity and she hated it. First date in forever and the guy doesn't even show, nor does he text her to let her know he ain't coming. On top of it she had been really nervous about it and had shown up early which made it look like she had waited for an hour by now, making her look so stupid. She really just wanted to go home, hide under her covers and cry.
