zoisite: does my muse believe everything’s going to work out for them in the end or not?
yes and no. she is a firm believer of fate. yet she is also a firm believer in changing your fate if you’re not happy with how your life is progressing. sayuri is practical, understanding that if the world will not go the way she wants it to, she won’t back down and will try a way to change her fate unless it’s a given that she is stuck with what the universe has laid out before her. there’s only so much you can alter before it becomes too much. before you go astray from your path of life. she knows this. she knows this very well. being an ambitious woman, she seeks out the best life has to offer and wants everything to be in her favor. having grown up with doors being slammed shut in her face, she’s learned to swallow it with patience and determination, knowing in the end, whether by sheer will or force, it will work out for her.
