Trying his best to recall the events that happened the night before, Jongin ended up coming up with nothing. He had been too drunk to really remember anything now, but since they were both standing there still dressed he figured that they hadn’t done anything and he was quite relieved because he didn’t really know the female personally enough and it would have been really awkward to face her again if they had done anything with each other the night before. Jongin was always getting into scandals but that was with people that he actually knew, he never risked getting into scandals with people he didn’t personally know. Even though he was someone who was cold-hearted he still had a side to him that didn’t want anyone who he didn’t know for long to end up in a sticky situation because of him. Shrugging he looked at the female before sitting down on the couch. “I don’t know, I was too drunk last night to really remember anything that happened. But since we’re both still dressed we can cross out the possibility of sleeping together and since that didn’t happen I don’t really think we should worry about any of the details that happened last night since it’s not really important.” His tone sounded quite uninterested and completely unconcerned as he spoke.
"Take good care of Ara while she's at school and make sure she's alright at all times. Also, son, if anything bad happens let me know so I can tell her dad. He's very worried about her being on her own here in Seoul and doesn't want anything happening to her." These were the exact words that his dad had told Jongin before the female had flown back to South Korea and even though he didn't like having to pretty much babysit someone he still agreed to do it, but only because it was a request from his dad and he didn't want to let his dad down. Jongin's dad and Ara's dad were close friends which was how he ended up in the situation he was in now. He had to make sure to keep an eye on the female at all times and make sure to let his dad or Ara's dad know if anything bad happened at school with her. If it weren't for his dad requesting for him to do this, and he wasn't friends with Ara's dad, Jongin would have easily turned down the man without hesitation and would have been able to continue on with living his life not worrying about watching over someone who had never met before in his life, but now he had befriended the female, not by choice, and ended up being her dad's eyes and ears.
What Jongin had to do wasn't really that hard, he only had to either make sure she got to class safely in case someone didn't like her and tried doing something, help her out if she ever got into a sticky situation, or even just make sure she was happy and not having a hard time. "You'll be like her guardian angel." his dad had told him. But for Jongin it wasn't like being a guardian angel at all but more like torture, having to do something he didn't want to. It wasn't like he really had a personal grudge on Ara or anything like that, he just didn't trust female's in general, thinking that they were all the same which was why he was even more annoyed with the situation that he was in. Even if Ara wasn't like other females and was different it wouldn't matter to Jongin because he didn't care for befriending females. A lot of them were trouble and they all loved starting rumors and loved gossiping about each other, something that Jongin would never understand when it came to girls. Why they loved gossiping about others was still a mystery to Jongin, but at the same time girls themselves were just mysteries altogether. For him he'd never understand what went on inside of a female's head and he didn't really want to find out, nor did he even care. All he cared about when it came to having to watch Ara and make sure she was doing alright was making sure that he didn't disappoint his dad.
Jongin and his dad had always been close, even before his mom had left with the man she had been having and affair with, but after his mom had left Jongin and his dad had become closer. Jongin would do anything for his dad no matter what it was, even if it was something that would make him unhappy or something he hated, he'd still do it if his dad asked him to do it. Starting with being the female's "guardian angel", even if he felt like leaving and just backing out of it, he wouldn't. Since this was their first time meeting, Jongin didn't want to pretend to be nice then later show who he really was, for him it was better to just show the female how he really was and have her know than make her think that he was someone different and have her try being friends with him.
In truth, Dara isn't exactly sure how she had ended up joining Seongnam Uni's Fashion Club. When the college had its annual Clubs Day earlier that year - a day for advertising all the clubs and encouraging everyone from freshmen to seniors to join - Dara had enjoyed looking at all the displays and finding out what each club did, but she had also become seriously overwhelmed and indecisive about which ones she wanted to join. In the end, she'd signed up for a number of clubs, and soon forgot which ones.
Fortunately, the club had conveniently sent an email to each of its new members, reminding them to be at the meeting on Friday at 2pm, so once she'd had her last class for the day, calculus, Dara strolled along to the meeting room. She wondered if the others would be "fashionably late" and giggled at her own terrible joke.
Dara had to wonder if she was even suited for this club - she liked clothes, sure, and dressing up and looking good. But she wasn't all that interested in keeping up with the current trends - it was too much work, who could be bothered to update their wardrobe every summer, winter and fall? She preferred making her own style; hopefully her and her style would still find a place in the Fashion Club.
Once she had found the room, Dara smiled and greeted the other people present before taking a seat next to another girl. The meeting didn't seem to have started yet, but she didn't just want to sit there quietly and twiddle her thumbs. She patted the girl on the shoulder. "Um, annyeong! I'm Dara. I'm a junior, but this is my first time at the Fashion Club... what about you?"
It was around noon when Mark's web development class had ended. The professor had assigned them look over and create new codings over the weekend and be prepared to demonstrate them in two weeks.
Mark began to brain storm ideas as he walked up to his favorite cafe on campus. Entering the small shop, he paid for a iced vanilla macchiato and decided to sit outside after picking up his order. After finding an empty table, he placed his drink down and reached into his back pack for his note book. Mark sat and sipped on his drink has he began to jot down his ideas.
As he was halfway through the page, a plead was heard not to far from where he was at. Scanning his surroundings, Mark noticed three men encircling a female who was sitting on nearby bench. Her expression immediately caught Mark's attention as it was filled with fear and uneasiness.
Should I help her..?
Letting out a small sigh, he shut his notebook and quickly shoved it into his backpack. Mark grabbed his drink and headed towards the frightened girl. Slightly pushing one of the men to the side, he grabbed the female's hand and smiled. "Sorry for making you wait. Let's go." Mark then turned his attention to the three males and tipped his head forward before pulling the girl away with him.
