Kevin grinned brightly, giving a little wave to the young ladies, chuckling to himself softly. “You ladies are always so bright and chipper when I show up, maybe that’s part of why I like coming here so often?” He left the other half of his thoughts to himself, moving over to the corner of the shop the girl had pointed to before taking a seat and making himself comfortable. The girls themselves seemed to be doing quite well, and he took a glance around to try and peek past the counter, he was curious where there boss actually was. “How is Kiseop? He must be in the back like usual, huh?” Kevin rubbed at his cheeks a little, the giggling girls making him blush a little. It was like he had his own personal fangirls.
Just after he had set down his stuff, adjusting himself so he could plug in his laptop, he heard the familiar voice from the other side of the room — he had to fight back the urge to grin just from the melodic sound of his voice. He took a quick moment to gather his composure before looking up at the other man, this time unable to help from giggling loudly. Kiseop looked adorable with the apron on, and his messy hair just topped off the look perfectly. “Hey there, you look like you’ve been baking something sweet, Kiseop. It’s nice to see you again.” He chuckled softly, shrugging in defeat. “What can I say? I’ve become your most regular customer it seems! It’s hard to resist coming here when you and those lovely ladies always treat me so kindly!” He nodded happily, leaning back comfortably in his seat. “Yes please! I’m surprised you’ve been able to remember my order every time, I’d imagine it would be quite hard to remember those kinds of details, but well, I’m a forgetful guy… For the most part.” He took a second to look through the notes he had written for his next article, giving a small hum, a smile playing on his lips. “Anyways, how have you been? I was busy with work for a few days, you should come sit and maybe we could have a chat and do some catching up?”
The girls all smiled knowingly at his unspoken statement, but the one out by the tables continued the brief conversation. "Well we can't help it if we love seeing our handsome journalist." She giggled and then grinned when he asked about Kiseop, having expected him to ask after him. "Oh, he's wonderful! He's been experimenting with some new pastries in the back." She smiled and glanced over just before he stepped out.
He blinked when he heard the loud giggle, though his cheeks darkened visibly beneath the flour at those words. "O-Oh, yeah. I've been trying to work on a new pastry." He reached up and brushed some of the powder from his hair and then smiled. "It's nice to see you as well, I was wondering if you'd forgotten about us, even though we're the only place you can come down to at 3 am after putting out a last minute deadline." He chuckled softly and then nodded. "You're definitely one of the most regular. I'm glad that we can treat you properly." He hummed before raising an eyebrow. "Of course I do, that's why I insist on making the first cup of coffee for a new customer to be made my me and on the house if I can catch them. I remember one time when you came on and said you wouldn't know what you would do without me here to make your drink because you couldn't think of how it was made anymore." He laughed softly as he started working on the drink and humming softly to himself before he heard the question and smiled a bit sheepishly as he looked up at him. "I've been alright, they switched me over to a more advanced group of dancers the other day, actually. Let me wash up and then I'll be right there, yeah?" He finished up the drink and set it on the tray for the one girl to take over to Kevin before he disappeared in the back and she went behind the counter.
He came back out a short time later, hair fixed and no apron on, though there was a bit of flour on his cheek that he'd missed as he walked over and sat at the table with Kevin, a water bottle in hand. "It's been a while since you've really had time to sit and chat, actually."
