For all his life, Hyukjae has always wanted to be on stage. He loves the rush from performing and the crowd going wild and he really feeds on that energy to keep him going. The only problem was that his parents were renowned doctors, so they expected him to be a doctor as well to continue the family business.
Which is why they didn’t take Hyukjae’s passion lightly. They initially thought it would be a phase and he would grow out of it, but instead it grew even brighter. This began to worry them as he got into high school, constantly sneaking out to go to sketchy places to perform with other rappers and meeting fellow artists like him.
One day he was finally caught by his parents and they immediately wanted him to quit rapping or else. This lead to a huge fight between them, ending with hyuk running away from his family. Since then, he believed his family didn’t want him anymore.
Since then, he’s been fending for himself. He is currently staying at a friend’s place (wanted connection? maybe?) while he is still trying to get to his feet. He now works as a barista to pay his bills and his friend, but his passion is still strong. He still dreams of being a rapper one day and be recognized for his talent and still goes underground to rap against other artists.
Personality wise, Hyuk is kind of cocky. It’s a kind of his way of coping his family issues by projecting what he wants to show himself. He wants people to only see the good side of him, which is why he’s also not close with a lot of people. But relatively, he’s a happy-go-lucky guy just want to make it big and living his best life.

i cannot believe i only lasted a month before bringing jisung back om g. why am i like this. anyway i am luna and i also play @minhyukwtf. for those of u that don’t know, jisung was my first muse here and i dropped him like a month ago but i missed him so much and decided to bring him back bc i am trash. so here is his introduction in case u forgot about him/have no idea who he is!! give this a like and i’ll send u a message so we can plot!!
jisung spent most of his childhood helping out at his parent’s cafe. when he was younger he used to hate being forced into helping out because he wanted to stay home and play his brothers nintendo 64 but as he grew older he began to appreciate it more. he started to enjoy the soft and calming atmosphere of the small cafe and the strong smell of coffee in the air. he enjoyed brewing fresh cups of coffee for the locals and seeing their faces light up when they took the first sip
the cafe slowly became his whole life when he was a teenager. when he was a teen he would spend almost all his free time there either working or hanging out with friends there. the cafe was everything to him and he couldn’t wait to take it over one day.
thats why he decided to attend a business school in daegu. at first he wanted to attend one here in seoul but his parents told him to go and spend time away from the cafe for once. he reluctantly agreed and found himself living in daegu for almost three years
just as he was about to start his last year, he received a call saying that his parents were in the hospital after a robbery gone wrong. apparently his mother went to go grab the money from the register and the kid panicked thinking she was calling the police and shot both of them. he dropped out that night and got on the next train back to seoul. the doctors did all they could to save his parents but the medics arrived too late and they died two hours after he got to the hospital.
the cafe was left to him and his brother. his brother wanted nothing to do with the cafe and tried to convince jisung to sell it but he refused. the cafe meant so much to him and he couldn’t bare the thought of not being able to return to it anymore. this lead to him taking over the cafe as the sole owner
personality: despite the death of his parents, he is still a very cheerful person. he loves helping his friends and doting on them whenever he can. he just wants everyone to be happy and enjoy a good cup of coffee. he can be quite clumsy so if you’re bored and looking for something entertaining, come to the cafe right before close and watch jisung attempt to do the dishes without dropping at least 3 cups.
where he’s been since leaving: after his thing with ren ended, he was a bit fucked up by it and decided he needed some time away from seoul. he spent most of the time in venice, italy relaxing and relearning how to be himself again. now that he’s back, he’s ready to get back to the cafe and work his lil butt off.

work gossip is the best gossip: someone who works part time at the cafe with jisung. even though he tried his best to run the cafe on his own, its a lot of work for one person so he needed someone to help out. the hours are decent and you get free coffee out of it so why not?

Backstory
Born on August 10th, she was the first child of a South Korean mother who worked as a chef in a well-known and an American father who owned a long-standing chain of supermarket.
Her childhood was relatively happy as she was spoiled rotten by her mother and other relatives. Her father, however, was more strict with her as he had hopes of her inheriting his company.
She always go back and forth between the US and Korea, school for the former and holidays and meeting with her mother’s side of the family for the latter.
Discomfort and chaos started when she was around 12 as her mother and father started fighting and both of them having another person on the side.
Middle school was a mess for her as she had to deal with her parent’s divorce, which affected her both mentally and academically. Her father was more strict with her at this point, telling her to study more and putting more expectations on her.
Since then her grades had been mostly C, but as time goes on she started failing more of her class and having to retake summer class a lot.
Everything culminated when she ended up failing her last year of high school and not graduating. Both of her parents ended up disappointed at her.
Afterwards, she moved to Seoul to her aunt and uncle’s place, who were sympathetic and understood the effect her parents had on her, letting her stay with them until she’s ready to take the next step in life. right now she works as a convenience store worker
personality
shes really closed at it takes some time for her to open up, but expect a lot of insults and sarcasm comfortably thrown around when she does think you’re worth it
her hobbies includes playing video games and jogging.
coming from a well off family made her a bit materialistic and a picky eater, and she has habits of spending more money than necessary at times

so let me tell you about my baby girl gala okay ?
she’s from russia . before she was in busan , she was in russia & leMME TELL YOU THE KINDA ROLLER -- COASTER HER TIME THERE WAS OKAY ?
so basically her father was the only family that really wanted her with him , & he had to already been nationalized in russia ( to become a citizen , you know ) . so he had to move back to russia . her mom ? didn’t want to move to russia & didn’t want to raise a child without the father being there with her . so she let her father take her with him .
so that’s when her parents really started to grow apart , but they weren’t divorced ( yet ) . but she didn’t really know her mother , so she could care less if her mother was in her life or not . though , it probably would have been better if her mother was in her life more than her father .
her father worked within the span of engineering & car parts , but she didn’t really ever know . her father never told her , even if she actually exactly asked what he did for a living . but she did know that whatever her father did ? he was doing borderline illegal things , & she didn’t really dig into that .
she attended school up until she was nine ( taken out by her father ) & then began working with people her dad knew in a mechanic garage ( so she basically learned from them , plus a lil extra ; she ended up learning cars / other things that could contribute to illegal connection ) --- which her father DID know about .
when she was ten is when she began doing illegal workings of her own within the business of her father’s friends . she was taught heavily about cars & drugs & poisons & weapons for her safety as well as for the content involved within her work ( which her father --- at that point --- didn’t know , because of his own neglect of his daughter while continuing his own work ) . at first , her work didn’t start out as intense or overwhelming as it’d become . eventually , there came the point where she’d always be on guard & would wake at the slightest things for jobs & would be called in to jobs at ungodly hours ; her work consisted of obviously being a mechanic & being associated with the russian underground / blackmarket / street jobs .
her father progressively , gradually became more shady & private & basically pushed gala out of his life to continue with the fast -- paced work that had consumed him . he honestly probably forgot he was taking care of his only daughter .
then when she was sixteen , her mother caught wind of just the surface of what was going on with her & her father & brought gala back to korea with her ( against her will ! ) to give her a ‘ normal ‘ life . gala didn’t like her mother because her mother deliberately gave up on raising her & didn’t even care to regularly check up on her when she resided in russia with her father . she hated that her mother took her from what she knew as home & hated that her mother acted as though she knew what was best for a child that may have came out of her but wasn’t hers .
so she & her mother bumped heads a lot when gala came back to korea , & especially when her mother found out she wasn’t properly schooled ? she was livid with her father for not schooling gala & with gala for not having been educated ( which wasn’t gala’s fault but in general was a fault in her mother’s eyes ) .
gala doesn’t quite know when her parents divorced , but she’s never cared to learn . all she knows about her parents’ relationship is that her mother is extremely hostile to her dad & anything including while her dad clearly doesn’t care . her dad calls & checks on her more than her mother ever did when she was in russia with him .
when first got to busan , her mother made her take classes to educate herself because she couldn’t get to the level she was supposed to be at --- at that age . but she did learn things relatively fast for her background & was able to volunteer at an auto garage ( much to her mother’s dismay ) . which that really brought her back to what she was doing in russia , because once she started doing that , she started dabbling into the illegal stuff again ? plus , she ended up being like someone / a mechanic that was recommended to illegal racers to have their rides fixed up / someone that became totally immersed into the illegal turn of what her life has turned into ( which her mother didn’t know ) .
& that’s what she’s been doing really ever moving from busan , honestly . one of her connections had a auto garage she could work at & she accepted it . her mother had a big argument with her when she left ( which didn’t really make gala feel guilty because she hates her anyway ... ) & they haven’t been in real contact for a while . her mother occasionally calls in & sends her money , but that’s it . her dad calls & checks up on her ( which she’s completely honest with him : daddy’s little princess ) . they don’t really have a healthy father / daughter relationship because of how he uses her & guilt trips her into sending him money & everything , but they have a much healthier relationship than she & her mother .
much like how it was in russia , she doesn’t really have a set work schedule ? she’ll really come in at anytime for anything . she’s really like a ... ig wildcard ? a little bit of everything ? she does repairs , can help cover up crimes , etc ( most of etc being in the illegal range of things ) . like if you call her in at three in the morning to look at a car you banged up during a race & need it fixed in like five hours ? just bring it into the garage & call & she’s got you !
will sprout really random , intricate facts about poison , weapons , cars , engineering , explosives , etc . a lot of people find her kinda weird & a bit intimidating with the kinda knowledge she has & what she does .
basically living above the auto garage she works at right now . she hasn’t really had the time or really the motivation to do anything to find a proper place to stay .
she’s twenty -- two & she’s pansexual , but she doesn’t really experience like sexual attraction a lot ? she doesn’t NEVER experience it , but it’s very rare that she does . i’m pretty sure like ,, cars & weapons & explosions are the things that turn her on tbqh ......... she’s really weird okay love her DSAJKSDADSA

tristan is 24 years old!! recent (not so much anymore) new resident within seoul
honestly he has no idea what the hell he is doing with himself or his life, he just knows that he needed a change of scenery desperately and after coming to seoul during a study abroad semester in college, he decided to officially move there a little bit after his graduation!!!
he has been living in seoul for almost a full year now!!!
but he was born and raised in new york city though!! he is very much used to the city life and prefers it.
he has a bachelors degree in photography and managed to nab himself a job as a lead photographer of a local magazine located within seoul.
he went through some traumatic things in nyc that led him to moving to seoul. he had a rough time with his teenage years and fell into a bad crowd. got mixed up with drugs and alcohol and got in trouble quite often with the law as well. he didn’t really get his shit together until he hit college, but even then he was still dealing with a bad smoking habit and dabbling in drugs every once in awhile, as well as drinking excessively with friends.
it wasnt until tristan’s freshman year of college though, when he was 19, that he really took a bad turn. his father committed suicide and completely threw his entire world for a turn. he went into a really bad depressive state where he just did everything he was doing ten times harder until he finally burnt himself out and forced himself out of it.
he did that with the exchange student program and studying overseas in seoul for a semester!!! it got him out of new york, got him away from his home and all the darkness there, and got him away from the crowd he had gotten caught up with!! seoul kind of helped him restore himself and get his mindset back to where it needed to be
he came home and worked his ass off in college to graduate with his bachelors, spent about half a year after that trying to find a job in new york besides saying fuck it and then moving to seoul!!! and that’s where he is now!!
he’s pretty to himself for the most part! he is very nice, and can easily talk to people if needed by him bc sometimes it comes with the job, but other than that, he doesn’t really bother with speaking unless he feels comfortable w the person!! and then they’ll get to see his lil sense of humor and personality more
he is literally just an angel boy with a really good heart that has been broken a couple times by his family (his back story goes more in-depth about that) so he is both HARDENED TO THE WORLD BUT ALSO SO SOFT ABT IT HE’S HARD TO EXPLAIN ASDLKFJASDLKF
