Thinking abt marcia and septimus again. Like the first time they ever met, he hit her with a snowball and she was like. Are u not meant to be in school or at home by a fire or smth. U look cold. And then she remembered him and saved his life. And then at aunt zeldas cottage she taught him the Unseen as well!!! Like she Did Not have to do that he is Just Some Young Army Kid at this point. And then!! She asks him to be her apprentice!!!! Like he is 10 years old and she's not stupid she knows that she essentially just offered to adopt him. Like she doesn't know who he is, she doesn't know that he's a 7th son, she hasn't even heard him speak but she decides that in the ten years she's been eow this is the only person she's met who she'd be willing to spend 7 years living with and teaching. Like idk bro I just love that for them
