my ocs... Your Best American Girl...
if I lay the whole story out from start to beginning do you see how the narrative frames it to make me the villain or victim or some type of nuance that twists it all? can you even make sense of who I am if you try to claim that what that was wasn't traumatising? can you even understand my choices if they're filtered by force and twisted paradigms so convoluted they make the world turn kaleidoscopic? can we lie in the middle and say I wanted it but it shouldn't have happened if that in itself is the most ruinous part or does the simple fact consent exists supercede the rest? killing myself to see in shades of grey and pretending like all realities exist on the head of a pin. in the end does the autonomy take precedent. what is entrapment, what is helplessness, what is powerless? does it matter if there was no alternative in my possession I could have done to save myself or anyone? or does all that matters is the light that shines from the horror of reality onto you like sun reflecting off a paperclip.
