Sally had taken care of making sure Salene had everything she needed in the house while she left for a little while. She left her with plenty of enough food and entertainment to spare before giving her a quick peck on her forehead and scurrying off.
She was planning on making a trip to the book store, Chapter Three. After her encounter with Haku, Sally had finally begun accepting her magic. She had hope now that it could be controlled. If she was able to summon a vision at will, what’s there to stop her in knowing how to do the opposite, or lessen the impact of firing emotions? For the first time ever, she actually saw the potential in her gift. She saw it as an ally rather than a threat or something to be so scared of.
The shift in gear regarding her magic was enough to lessen her intense fear about being around people... at least for the most part. The ginger had actually felt her magic, had felt how it worked and now she was determined to learn a little more about it. That was how she found herself entering the quaint little book shop. Maybe she might find something about premonitions, or empaths? It was worth a try.
Once inside, she took a quick scan around the place with her eyes immediately feeling how warm and sort of homey her surroundings felt. Her eyes, however, fell over a face she was familiar with as a smile instantly formed on her lips.
“Persephone? Hi. How are you?” Sally really was delighted to see her. It has been a while and it was so nice to see a familiar face.
