Ev couldn’t believe that she was here, passing out flyers like she was one of DevTech’s teen interns. But Winston had said that, after the worst disaster Swynlake has had all year, DevTech should put its best foot forward and show that even its executives were dedicated to the town its roots were in. And somehow, despite the fact that Winston was the people-person, Ev had ended up with the job.
Once Ev got set up outside Town Hall, though, she had to admit that this could be a good idea. Get a feel for how people were generally feeling about the events of two weeks ago. Twitter could only tell her so much, and this information was going to be valuable for the future.
She had just finished carefully stacking the DevTech brochures when she accidentally knocked the whole display over, sending brochures, stress balls, pens, and other little freebies flying. “Dammit,” Ev muttered, crouching down to start picking the items up, when she saw someone approaching out of the corner of her eye. “One sec!” she called, looking her over her shoulder. “Very professional of me, I know.”

Sally hadn’t been too affected by the events that had trespassed two weeks ago. In fact, she had been home that night and had kept Hector company while texting Panic to make sure he was doing okay since he had gone. When it came to events, for the most part, the redhead tended to avoid them.
It was simply too much for her magic. Too many people all hoarded together in one spot and that was just disastrous for magic that thrived on the connection of people.
It was always easier for Sally to just stay home and avoid the migraine.
Thankfully, as it normally did, things were already somewhat settling down for the town, which meant that Sally could back to the routine of running errands. Now that she had two new roommates, food was evaporating quicker than normal. It was while walking that she caught these slew of items suddenly colliding with her feet. Pausing in her tracks, the ginger bend down to pick up some of the items and hand them over to who she assume was the owner of them.
“Oh no, umm that’s okay. I was just passing by...”
