I just thought about Genesis with his rabbit and all that comes to my brain is:

Normal Children: Play with cars and dolls, their pets involve a family dog or a fish.

Genesis: Dressed SephiBun up and the rabbit sleeps in a doll bed. SephiBun has never known a cage or hutch since leaving Shinra.

Oh my god this is so adorable I’m CRYING. Also you’re so right, conventional child, Genesis Rhapsodos is not - and extra bonus, what a great life SephiBun gets to have too 🥹🥹🥹🖤🖤🖤

Also I think you’ve inspired me to draw his childhood room complete with Bunny dollhouse/living quarters (because I now need to see the extravagance for myself)

Wait dumb question: What were child Angeal's thoughts on Sephibun, because gods know Gen dragged his rabbit around like a child with their beloved doll.

I think Angeal loved Sephibun as much as Genesis did; he probably rolled his eyes (a lot) at Genesis trying, and failing to show Angeal the brilliant new trick/command/I SWEAR HE DID IT ANGEAL YOU JUST BLINKED thing he's 'taught' bunny to do (meanwhile bunny just sits there knowingly gazing at Angeal while munching his treats).

G: Did you see it? A: See what? G: Sephi - BUNNY. He just rolled over! A: He didn't. He's just sitting there. G: You missed it. He's brilliant, and you take too long when you blink so you missed it. SB: ... A: ... G: Anyways, I made this (*pulls out a tiny, rabbit sized vest with a tape-recorder Velcro'd to the the top*) - got the idea from an old STAMP! comic. -starts fitting Bunny with the vest, Bunny seems fine with it- Stamp sneaks into enemy territory and catches all the bad guys on tape revealing their evil plans and then the SOLDIERs come down from the roof on ropes and arrest them ALL! It was brilliant!!! A: Neat! G: (finishes tightening the straps, pats bunny, Bunny sniffs at him) So you wanna sneak Bunny into my dad's office? Those guys in the black suits have been here all morning and I wanna know what they're talking about. A: (looks at bunny, bunny appears to wink and approval) Yeah, okay. G: Excellent. Alright Bunny, time to go infiltrate enemy territory. You're doing a service for your country little Soldier! Make me proud. A: (as they walk towards the house) After we take down the adults do you want to have a sleepover at my house? My mom says it's okay. G: Yeah! A: Cool. G: Can I bring Bunny? A: Sure. G: Cool.
