It’s Your Love That Brings Me Home

Sequel to my fic Wake Me Up When September Ends

I’m so excited to be posting this sequel! It’s still a work in progress, I’ll be posting chapter by chapter but I just couldn’t wait until I was finished! If you like the first one, I hope you enjoy this too!

Summary: Fourteen years ago, Jared and Jensen survived the worst tragedy in recent American history. They went through a long road to finally reach the light at the end of the tunnel, and even though their lives have ups and downs, they can say they're truly happy, especially because they have each other.

But just when they're starting to think about taking the next step, life puts them to the test again. Jensen receives news that makes his whole world collapse, and once again an impossible decision has to be made.

In the past, Jensen helped Jared overcome the hardest challenge in his life. Now Jared needs to channel that inner strength he gained more than ever so he can do the same for Jensen.

Jensen takes the other band, and scooting his chair backwards, he gets down on one knee in front of Jared, taking his hand. Jensen looks up into those deep hazel eyes which are filled with emotion as he slips the ring onto Jared’s finger. He repeats the gesture, gently kissing the ring, eyes never leaving Jared’s. “I can’t wait to be officially yours.”

I just updated my iOS and went to check my storage and some old pics popped up I’m not sure where from... and the first one was this one and I just got kinda emotional bc it’s the first sentence from my fic Wake Me Up When September Ends, which I wrote more than a year ago... little did I know it would become a gigantic verse with over 150k words. And I happen to have my sequel doc opened in front of me right now. Goddamn I’m so proud of this verse!! I think I took this pic from my tablet to show Karri that I had started writing it lol
