My mom, understanding how obsessed I am with Fringe, got me September's Notebook for Christmas and I'm really excited about it :):)
Limited Edition of Fringe: September's Notebook by Tara Bennett and Paul Terry
The set includes: a plate that Joel Wyman, Anna Torv, Joshua Jackson, and John Noble signed, a piece of set amber (that comes in its own little plastic case), two propaganda posters not included with the regular book, and a copy of the Fringe comic seen in season 5. Everything is house in a clamshell case. It also arrives in its own September's Notebook packaging.
The book itself is a leather bound edition of the original book. The top photo shows the edition the comes with the set on the left and the original version on the right.
WARNING: The edition run for this set was extended from 300 to 1267 so any of these sets number 301 or higher do not come with original signatures. The signatures that come with those are recreated by a machine and there is no guarantee which numbering you will get if you purchase this set. Also, the amber has been cut down from its original size to accommodate the extended run. It was originally sized to fit the plastic case it comes in but, as you can see in my picture, it's smaller.

For anyone considering the limited edition September's Notebook...
...know that the "autographs" on your bookplate are likely to be fake.
I emailed Insight after noticing that the signatures on my card were identical to those that most others were posting online. They confirmed "some of the signature cards were generated with authorization by a replicating machine, for the actors could not sign all of them. This process was completely randomized."
So thanks, Insight. After MONTHS of delays, with no proper explanation, you don't even give us what we paid for.
For the record, they did offer a full refund if I want to return my copy. But that doesn't excuse their deceit.

UPS sucks. I didn't hear them til they were driving off and they didn't even leave anything on the porch. Not my package or a note :( I would assume I don't have to sign for it, I mean its just a book. So now I have to wait til Monday for them to hopefully try again. I know, it's not that bad but man I feel like I've been waiting forever for my September's Notebook >.<
Finally!
My special edition of September's Notebook FINALLY shipped out! The first time I tried ordering it was in January, but that magically got cancelled. Then I ordered the special edition in April and that kept getting pushed back for some reason. It should be getting here tomorrow, I'm so excited!
Also finally getting a chance to see The Host movie. Here's hoping it doesn't suck, since I loved the book.
