I’m sure you all remember #vishousthecat who I haven’t posted about since #october2019 I just wanted to let you know that in mid December of last year his #kidneys went into absolute #failure & was in utter pain. He didn’t tell me he was in pain until the week he stopped snuggling and had trouble going to the bathroom. He was born in #september2009 Abandoned on our carport with cord still attached. Found his forever home. I don’t think he could handle both my dad dying two years ago now, his #furpartnerincrime😎🐾 passing away in August. As much as I needed my #seizurecat with me, he needed them more! . . All that said, thanks to @aguafriaanimalhospital he passed warm, peacefully, and in his in sleep snuggled in my sisters arms and next to me. We have a beautiful paw print with his name on it, and a card from the office.. #vishousthecat has been buried at home with all our other animals that passed the #rainbowbridge . . In the spirit of the atoms&bits festival and the international Breakout Festivals , our garden was transformed into an open office: come out of your office and into the city to ours!

20th of September 2009-- Reflecting on a beautiful afternoon:

It was a beautiful afternoon filled with generous music.  The newspaper coined us as the “beautiful Princess Garden on Moritzplats” and Jana, a fellow volunteer, wrote this in her blog (check out the blog post from SOUNDS LIKE ME http://www.sounds-like-me.com/news/tag/moritzplatz/): “the incredible band Dominique plays in, with the incredible Richard Davis (https://myspace.com/richardavis) on bass.  I have moved around a lot from one neighborhood to the other, and finally into this one without much expectation.  This was the day that everything became clear: I think I live in the best place anyone can, in Kreuzberg near the Princess Garden, in the thickets and next to a small bar.  And seeing Dominique’s performance today...the world is suddenly looking to me as if I am wearing rose-tinted glasses.  The green is even more green, the light even warmer and the people are definitely nice.  All of this brings chills down my spine...”
