When he chimed in with his small comment, the vampire was quick to raise head and turn a little so she could look at him with a confused look.

"Did you just quote Evanesence lyrics at me?" Question was asked, a small chuckle to follow before she wriggled around to readjust herself, letting dark eyes return to text on sheer pages. "Would you consider a mildly less depressing song, maybe?"

               In response to his words, her hands were brought to his shirt, pulling on it just weak enough to not tear it off him completely. If he was willing to tease her, she'd do the same. After all, they both knew exactly where this was going.
