Del, like so many individuals with psychotic disorders, is homeless. Del is nomadic in that she moves from place to place within the city. She has been accepted into halfway houses on more than one occasion, but is often kicked out for her behavior or for missing curfew. Del finds solace on the concrete sidewalks of Chicago until she is forced to relocate by shop owners or police.
