Death metal doesn't appeal to me in most cases. Here's the exception: the Sequestrum / Sn​ě​ť split. Especially the Sequestrum side of things, which is the utmost slimiest, queasiest, and grotesque thing you can possibly gorge down and vomit out in one shot. It's fucking Jabba The Hut-grade virulence.

Devon has really been great for the whole process. We have to totally flush the wound using a catheter that we slide up into the abscess and through the break and we push saline through it. Because there’s communication between her mouth and the abscess a lot of saliva, puss, and food comes out and it is naaaasty. But she just.. lets us.. I am so grateful for her understanding attitude about all of this. She really is so special. Now, we try out different wrap styles that might actually stay on her face..
