LEAF’S SURPRISE WAS PROBABLY OBVIOUS BY THE LOOK ON HER FACE. lips slightly parted and eyes wide, she stood absolutely still and brows slightly furrowed in confusion, as if she was trying to determine whether or not the question was SERIOUS.

evidently, she decided it was, and her cheeks heated up and turned a WARM red color. flirting–––– whether someone meant flirting with someone or being flirted with–––– wasn’t something that she was all that familiar with. sure, she’d jokingly flirted with her friends once or twice, but to actually have someone approach her with the intention was something she hadn’t been prepared for.

leaf shifted the papers in her arms, tucking hair behind her ear in hopes that it would distract from her blushing face. unfamiliar or not, the act wasn’t UNPLEASANT, and she couldn’t find it in her to say no, despite her embarrassment.
