Faltan solamente dos meses para el 2 de febrero, y ya saben lo que eso significa …¡Shakira va a cumplir 40 años!

He organizado proyectos masivos a nivel mundial pidiéndoles a los fans por Internet que se graben felicitando a Shakira por su cumpleaños.  Cada año, he recibido muchas grabaciones de audio y video, al igual que fotos, de alrededor del mundo, y ¡se han enviado los videos finales a Shakira y puestos en Shakira.com!   El video del año pasado fue twiteado por la misma Shakira.

Por eso, como fanaticada de Shakira, obviamente queremos que Shakira tenga el mejor cumpleaños…

Esto es lo que tienen que hacer:

Graba unas felicitaciones de cumpleaños para Shakira (audio o video). También puedes enviar una foto con tu colección de Shakira, con Shakira misma, en un concierto, con el cartel para ella, etc. (más bien cualquier cosa relacionada a Shakira donde estés tú incluido).  También hay otras opciones tal como hacer uno de sus bailes, felicitarla con tus amigos,… ¡Lo que creas que haga que tu mensaje y tu amor le lleguen a Shakira!  Puedes hacer una o todas las opciones, ¡no estás limitado/a sólo una foto, un video, audio, etc!

February 2nd is only a few months away, and you all know what that means…

… Shakira is going to turn 40!

For Shakira’s past several birthdays, I’ve organized mass, world-wide projects asking fans across the internet to record themselves wishing Shakira a happy birthday.  Each year, I’ve gotten tons of submissions in audio and video recordings, along with photos, from all over the world, and the final birthday videos have been sent to Shakira and posted on Shakira.com!  Last year, Shakira even tweeted the video herself.

So, as Shakira fans, we certainly want Shakira to have the happiest of 40th birthdays…

Here’s what to do:

Record a birthday greeting for Shakira (audio or video). You can also send in a photo of you with your Shakira collection, with Shakira herself, at a concert, with a sign for her, etc. (anything Shakira-related with you in it, pretty much). Other options include doing one of her dances, doing a greeting with friends… whatever you think will get your message and love for Shakira across to her!  You can do any or all of these options, you’re not limited to just a picture, video, an audio recording, etc!
