Nothing big, honestly. Her husband used to take her to a fancy dinner where they didn’t have to worry about the kids for a night. This is going to be her first birthday since he passed, so she supposes she’ll just hang out at home with her kids.

Fists.
027. What is their idea of perfect happiness?
Serena often wonders what would happen if she reached out to her parents and told them what she’s accomplished since they kicked her out. She also wants to tell them all the bad shit she went through after they kicked her out. She fluctuates between wanting to make them feel like shit for abandoning her and wanting them to apologize and tell her they love her and want her back in their lives. Perfect happiness would be having her family all together and her husband alive, all that fun stuff.
