Jenn very obviously wanted Alex. Men can sometimes be so one minded most times. More specifically unconfident, insecure, and already questioning men. Alex was just easier for her to lie to about it and still coexist around him. I believe it was her that made the moves to almost have them backseat bumping in the limo. Jenn didn’t deflect from US or try to not convince the viewers. She didn’t even try not to convince Alex. She just was waiting for a good moment to prey on him (not in a bad way… i guess). Hence limo scene.
