Could I potentially ask for Corbeau and Grusha, (and whoever else you want, of course!) with a lover who has a Zorua who’s never apart from its trainer and never in its pokéball. Thats fine and dandy, but the critter has.. a bit an attitude. Won’t cause anyone harm, but if people get too close it has a habit of staring or outright glaring, pretty possessive and protective. Again, wont hurt anyone, but definitely has some sass and attitude, particularly directed at those who end up getting attention of affection from its trainer.

Corbeau loves them - no, he adores your Zorua. Their spice level is immaculate in his eyes. Not a lot of people and Pokemon have the audacity to stare so intensely at Corbeau; Zorua has earned his respect due to this. And besides, they are his beloved's Pokemon, meaning he has to treat them with the utmost respect. It's the bare minimum. But when all is said and done, Corbeau does want to earn Zorua's trust and affection. So what does Corbeau do? He offers them treats and toys until Zorua feels more comfortable around him; unfortunately, this does take a while, and even tests Corbeau's patience, but Zorua eventually comes around. It's a slow start, but Corbeau eventually got Zorua to lick his hand in approval. They even starts playing with the previously mentioned toys!
Grusha doesn't bargain like Corbeau does. It's simply not his style, and he prefers his company to become expected and comfortable over time. Unless Zorua feels threatened by him, Grusha still sticks by your side, though he doesn't attempt eye contact with Zorua. This is Grusha respecting Zorua's boundaries without negatively impacting his relationship with you. It takes around three months for Zorua to feel more comfortable with Grusha around, but they eventually get to a point where staring is no longer necessary. They secretly want to play with Grusha's scarf - the ball part, specifically! That's what gets both of them to truly bond.
N is the most understanding, which makes sense considering he can communicate with Pokemon. Similar to Grusha, he does his best to respect Zorua's boundaries, though N takes it up a notch and will leave you alone entirely if Zorua glares too harshly. He's afraid of upsetting your Pokemon, and perhaps it's a learned behavior of his to leave Pokemon alone. During this, it's best to encourage N to stay near you and attempt to befriend Zorua. And thanks to N's gentle and quiet nature, Zorua quickly adapts to the soothing environment, finding itself drawn to N and even rubs up against his leg when you've gone to cook dinner or shower. It only really takes two months for them to befriend each other. Also, Zorua loves N's hair, but has mistaken it for a toy before. They might have latched onto it with their mouth.
March 19th has rolled around once again being i am now once again here. Witting more birthday headcannons to fill the bottomless pit of my soul. When it comes to your birthday, Arven has absolutely zero plan. Not because he doesn’t have any ideas! Man has many ideas… too many to keep track of.
Arven has so many things he thinks you’ll enjoy, or places he wants to show you that his brain is about a thousand steps ahead of him, and the day before he just crashes out and wings everything on the day.
To him, this is your day, has nothing to do with him, it is your time to feel as happy as possible! Even without a plan our sandwich professional is going to work his ass off to make sure your smile never fades.
He may actually cry if it does.
In the morning, expect breakfast in bed. Equipped with all of your Pokemon already fed exactly how they like it. He takes notes. Any chores need to be done, Arven’s already done them. If you even attempt to get up before you have finished your breakfast, he will physically stand in the doorway with the most stern puppy dog eyes you will ever see on a human being.

As for the actual day starting, he is essentially going to follow you around the entire time. If you want to stay in and watch movies, every blanket is there, PILLOW FORT! Shiny hunting may not be in his skill set but he will damn well try! Arven is more than happy to join you in some Pokemon battles, trainer or wild he is your player 2.
No you cannot convince him to play video games with you. Arven could watch you all day though so if you want to ramble about your favourite game, his imaginary tail is eagerly wagging behind him while you talk.
Best part of the day, Lunch and Dinner. He goes ALL OUT! Anything you want to eat, it's yours, nothing is off the table, no matter how weird or exquisite it is. Hell you could ask him for just a bowl of cheesy nachos and he will make the greatest bowl of cheesy nachos the world will ever see.
He is so smitten with you already, so seeing your smile enjoying his food this time just feels so special to him. Arven put so much effort into this and to know you're happy with it makes his heart swell with love.
When it comes to gifts, he gives you 2. One he bought, most likely an item of clothing you had your eye on but couldn’t quite get yet. And the second is a handmade gift. He didn’t have help at all, don’t ask Nemona she didn’t help, Nemona and Arven didn’t work together in peace, that didn’t happen! YOU SAW NOTHING! Also ignore the Mabostiff hair.

Our excitable queen will make this day so special for you. Carmine will ask a few days prior about previous birthdays you’ve had and no matter what you tell her, she is now DEAD SET on making this the best one!
You will be waking up at the crack of dawn. She did not wake you up, on purpose. But her Aggressive shuffling of things in the next room can cause some noise.
Remember those Kimonos Carmine gave you during the festival? Well turns out she has more, the shuffling was her digging them out from her hiding spot. Handmade by her and her Grandma. Custom made just for you, and hers matches, just with small differences to fit your personalities!
Unlike Arven, Carmine has planned a day ahead although she will ask about everything before actually doing them. As excitable as she can be, your comfort is a top priority for her so if you say no to something she planned, consider it crossed off her list of fun things.
Carmine will however take you to the Shrine at some point towards the end of the day. Most likely around Sunset where she will tell you some of the Village's oldest tales and secrets. This is also where she gives you a gift. A Wood carving of your Pokemon. She had it made by an old friend of hers, hiding the carving here so no matter what you wouldn’t find it ahead of the day.
She will give you sneaky gifts as well though, just not in the traditional sense. You will suddenly find your item bag restocked with a bunch of different poke balls. Your bag now has a fluffy pom pom on it, when did that get there. Your worn down shoes suddenly look brand new. When did your hat get fixed?
This is also the only time you can convince Carmine to come to Paldea with you that doesn’t involve Area Zero or School. So take the chance whilst you can.

Oh boy, Drayton our beloved. This day is going to be… Unique
One of two situations will happen, though neither start until he wakes up around 1pm.
Situation 1) Colgate has a day full of battles and adventures just waiting for you! Starting the day off with a nice pokemon battle between you. Followed by a full catching lap of each area within the Terrarium. He even enhanced his shiny hunting skills just for you! Drayton will still scare them away though, but he saw it this time!
Randomly throughout the day he will just pull you into spontaneous hugs, which is something he does anyway but these are different. Toothpaste wants you to know how much he loves you so will pamper you the entire day. Every hug you face is covered in kisses from him. Drayton will open every door for you, take off his jacket for you to sit on when you stop for a picnic. In regards to physical affection, Drayton towers over the others.
Drayton even packed extra pokeballs for you, well Luxury balls, he wanted these ones specifically to use on this day. Makes it feel more special to him since he never changed the ball he uses.
Is your cheerleader. Like Arven he will follow you around when exploring the terrarium, so when you find a Pokemon you want and start up that battle. He is yelling his lungs out. Many a Rowlet was woken up. One even sat on his head at one point ruining his hair. Probably in retaliation to the squawking he was doing.
He may be a chill, go with the flow person. But today he is letting it loose, just having fun with it. All that built up energy is coming out today.
Situation 2) Lazy day. Drayton will grab you and pull you into him, laying you on his chest so he can just wrap you up in his embrace for as long as you let him. He has a blanket set up for you and the remote within your reach, movies and tv shows set up ready for you. If the pair of you aren't near a bed or sofa to just lay down and chill, he will carry you to one of them, whichever you feel more comfortable in.
No you are not getting up to get something. If you want something either Colgate is getting it, or one of his Pokemon are more than eager to help. Drayton won’t stop you getting up of course, you’ll just have to wiggle your way out of his steel grip first. Unless it's the bathroom, he will let go. He isn’t weird so don’t even think about it.

Giacomo is the same lovable DJ regardless of redemption or not. So when it comes to your birthday, he is ready! Has he written and produced multiple songs just for your birthday, yes. Will he play them randomly throughout the day to catch you off guard just to see your genuine reaction, absolutely!
He cannot cook, in fact among the star crew he is the WORST cook. Giacomo and ovens are sworn enemies, even a microwave will fight back. Best he can do is a cheese sandwich. So no special birthday food, he would have asked for help, he really would. If he remembered he actually has to ask and can’t will it into existence randomly.

Giacomo may not be able to cook, but damn can he have a good time. One of the best people to spend a birthday with, he is a DJ after all, if you wanted it, he would turn the entire star base into a celebration just for you, he has the power to so after all, why not use it. If parties aren't your thing, no worries! He has an entire day long music playlist set up to play on speakers throughout the rooms. When a really good song comes on, he’ll stop whatever he was doing to pull you into a dance with him, goofy or romantic he will have fun with it.
When it comes to gifts he is an ask and you shall receive kind of guy. He doesn’t spend money throughout the year on himself, he wears the same outfits basically every week, it's a system. The only time he spends money is on other people. So he has the money to spare.
Giacomo will straight up just give you his card directly when you can’t decide on something. The biggest toothy grin on his face as he ushers you to enjoy your special day.
Orders in for dinner. Doesn’t matter when or what it is. So long as he doesn't have to call Arven again.
Surprisingly enough this is one of the few times he actually lets go of things, no team star, no school, no DJ work, nothing. Just you and your birthday are his priorities today.

SNOW CABIN
With Grusha, your birthday is a multiple day event.
For the next 3 days, he has a cozy cabin booked for just the two of you to spend time together. You know those really cozy winter cabins you see in those cheesy Christmas movies? One of those.
Grusha will make sure this time is fun for you, it's one of the few times you will see a childish side of him surface. Snowball fights are a must, your birthday is the only time you can get away with chucking a snowball at him and not start an all out turf war with his Pokemon and yours.
Any and all Gym challenges are cast aside, The gym can do without him for a few days, this is your birthday after all. The gym can take a few days off.
The morning is the only time he will be outside the cabin, so this is when he will take you ice skating, build a snowman with you and just genuinely enjoy the snow with you. Since he's around Snow almost all the time, he tends to forget just how much fun it can be.
Once inside though, that's when the Grusha you know will show. The soft romantic side of him showing in full force. Sat by the fire, curled up in eachothers embrace, just living in the moment, enjoying the natural conversations that come. No movie or TV show, no rotom phones, just a genuine conversation.
Even if what you are talking about is a topic you both have talked about before, doesn’t matter. As long as you are smiling and enjoying your birthday trip, he is satisfied.

At first, N is confused by your fashion obsession. He notices that before every battle you carefully choose colors and accessories that match your Pokémon’s type.
When he realizes it’s a way of honoring your Pokémon partners, he thinks it’s beautiful. If you have a grass-type team, you might wear soft greens, floral patterns, or leaf-shaped earrings. N absolutely compliments the symbolism behind your outfits rather than the trend itself. He’ll tilt his head and say something like.
“You dress like you belong beside them… like another part of the team.”
Sometimes Pokémon approach you first because your outfits make them feel represented and understood. He secretly loves watching you explain your outfit choices. If you ever match him (black, white, and green tones) he gets flustered immediately.

That is the Grusha equivalent of a huge compliment. If you ever give him fashion advice he pretends he doesn’t care, but he absolutely tries it later. He also thinks it’s cute that your battle outfits are both stylish and functional.
Amethio
Amethio notices details immediately. When you walk into a battle wearing a carefully coordinated outfit, he assumes it’s some kind of strategy. When he realizes it’s just your personality, he finds it intriguing.
You wearing darker or elegant styles that match your Pokémon makes him take you much more seriously as a trainer. If you match Ceruledge’s colors (deep purple, black, red), he actually pauses for a second. He respects the confidence it takes to battle while dressed so boldly. You being stylish throws him off his usual composure a little.
Friede
Friede is 100% supportive of your fashion choices. He thinks it’s super creative that your outfits match your Pokémon team. If you have an electric type and wear bright yellows or lightning accessories he’s like
“That’s awesome! It’s like Pikachu has a fashion partner!”
He hypes you up before battles. Friede would absolutely ask.

Grusha Romance Headcanons Pt. 2: During and Post-Accident
Warning: Not sfw, angst.
A/N: Final part!
During the Accident:
You probably weren’t around when the accident happened, it was during his routine training with his teammates and he suffered a serious fall. His coached called you to come to the hospital and you came as fast as you could. He was likely already in surgery by the time you arrived so it was just sitting and waiting for him to get out with his coach and other concerned teammates.
He got out of surgery 6 hours later and he already seemed so different. They shaved his head to perform a craniotomy to alleviate swelling in his brain and he had to stay on oxygen. He stayed in coma for weeks and you stayed with him the whole time. He was very confused upon waking. Of course he remembered you and his family but he had no recollection of anything after the incident.
It was hard for him to accept that he needed so much help. He didn’t want you or any one to help him. He was too prideful.
After the Accident:
If you both can survive this your relationship can survive anything.
Getting Grusha to go to therapy was like trying to force a cat into a ice cold bath. He was way to prideful to believe he needed something like that. But seeing you cry and break down saying you didn't know how to help him made him give in.
Prone to self pity so you might need to remind him that you have needs as well because he’s kind of in his head. Therapy helps a lot. And he has you to confide in which makes recovering emotionally a lot easier.
He was so cold and reserved. And it took a long time for him to come around. He loved you but part of him was ashamed that you’d seen him in such a vulnerable place. Grusha thought you wouldn’t be attracted to him after everything you saw during his recovery.
It was difficult watching his personality change. Grusha was a lot more energetic and playful before, if not kind of immature and arrogant. He gained a lot of maturity during his recovery and became generally more empathetic but also very aloof.
He still loves you, he just needs help getting back to how things were. Ultimately he comes to realize things will never be how they were, but you’re still here and you still love him which he is eternally grateful for. Losing you and snowboarding would’ve been entirely too much.
Because of this Grusha feels very loyal toward you and protective of you. He was jealous before but now its intensified. How dare anyone try to take you from him. And you better not entertain anyone else either. It makes him particularly insecure.
You help him find new hobbies. You both take up yoga together, still go on hikes and camping trips.
After the accident he’s more concerned about keeping things private. People come up to him and say weird shit all the time so intimate dates become his preference.
Now he realizes what he was missing when he was snowboarding all the time. Of course he still loves snowboarding but he could’ve been spending so much more time with you.
You both travel a lot. He’s sitting on a ton of money from his paid out endorsements and he can’t think of a better way to spend it than travelling with you.
Don’t worry through Grusha save most of it for your future together. He wants to build a beautiful house in the mountains that you can raise your family in. Gym leader money isn’t half bad either. And if you work you both afford a very comfortable existence.
Becoming a gym leader was a particularly happy milestone for you both even if Grusha played it cool. It was nice to have a new pursuit that fulfilled him, even if it wasn’t to the same extent as snowboarding.
The most important thing that Grusha learned through this whole process is that fulfillment needs to be drawn from multiple places so one setback isn’t so devastating. So now he has his job as a gym leader plus you and all of the shared pursuits you’ve cultivated together and the ones his achieved independently.

Doesn’t mind taking things slow. Although you can tell that he’s reacclimated to your sex life when things start to get a bit rough again. Not that you mind in the slightest.

Grusha's love language is quality time. After becoming his friend, he likes when you use your free days to sit outside the gym and watch his battles. The mountain gets lonely, so when Grusha gets closer to you, he asks you to snowboard/ski with him.
Grusha still makes time to snowboard but is self-critical about himself since he cannot ride with the same skill/intensity as before the accident.
He uses his scarf to hide his emotions. He hides his frustration for his snowboarding or a lost battle, just as he hides his flushed cheeks when he is around you.
Grusha keeps his hair long because long hair is popular with the other snowboarders. Plus, he thinks it makes him look cool. (He is so pretty.) His natural hair color is brown but he finds it to be plain, so he dyes it a light blue with his yellow and dark blue accents.
Conveniently, Grusha always seems to pick the day before your visits to make sure to touch up his roots. He often catches a flying cab to Alfornada to have Tulip help with the dye.
Grusha’s Cetitan will force its way free from its pokéball to prevent Grusha from wiping out on the slopes.
Grusha has a charming smile, but he doesn’t show it often, usually only letting out a small smirk. He sometimes lets his full smile shine when making a good play in battle or receiving an unexpected compliment.
He lives in an apartment above the sushi place in Montenevera. While he admires his elder gym leader, Ryme’s concerts occasionally keep him awake.
