My boys both gave up trying to ride bikes early on but then started up again in their mid teens. Cheaper than learning to drive I guess. ☺

Heh. My dad is determined. And the neighbours are determined... Thank god someone has the patience to deal with it because I don't. I don't actively seek out moments when I embody the worst parent ever, so I actively avoid teaching her to ride the effing bike.

Yea I'm on days and she's on nights.  Normally she'd be up already but she got to bed late today moving in the last of our furniture (deep freeze, hutch, table, and beds!  oh my!).  I actually love it.  I get my me time and we do get days off together.  It works for us.  I know it doesn't for some ppl tho.
