Up on Capitol Hill, inside the Starbucks Roastery, is one of Tom Douglas' Serious Pie restaurants. Upscale pizza. We eat off the beaten con paths. My selection was stinging nettle pesto, with bresaola, burrata and fried garlic. Cj's best friend Aaron is a pastry chef for Tom Douglas restaurants downtown. We had Sunday brunch at Serious Biscuit/Serious Pie and got to enjoy the fruits of his labor AND get an inside peek at the kitchens in the back. Incredible breakfast and staff and experience.
