Look man, I don't like talking shit about books. As an aspiring author of a high fantasy novel I really try to be open to other people's worlds. Now while an overwhelming amount of cliches can give me a stomach ache, I can suck it up and deal. What I cannot accept is when your bad guys, who have a tribal culture, harsh sounding language and overall different way of life, who are portrayed as vulgar, brutish, war-mongering, monstrous rapists, also have many characteristics similar to people of color. And the two prior pages filled with black=evil symbolism? Yeah. Where's my lighter? Its about to ger Fahrenheit 451 up in this bitch.
