Well, if no one else jumps in to write more of their own, I guess I’ll just fill the Silmarillion Writers Guild character bio feature with my beloved proto-Rohirrim from here on out!

Which brings me to: Marhwini, first lord of the Éothéod. High stakes battles, enduring friendship, culture clashes, a slave revolt and more! Marhwini was a super cool dude, one who put us on a sure path to Eorl and all that followed for Gondor and Rohan. And he kept me good company and gave a nice change of pace while writing this during a time when I was feeling creatively blocked.

So, come for the attempted liberation of Rhovanion by the horse people, stay for the shout out to the Haitian Revolution in the footnotes! (Like JRR, I love a footnote, it must be said.) And if you like proto-Rohirrim, my first character bio of Vidumavi of the Northmen is here.

6,000 Followers!!

Okay, I have FINALLY emerged from the depths of finals only to discover that I have 6,000 followers??!! Oh my god!! Guys!! What a nice end-of-the-year surprise!! Even with the asks (especially the ship ones) that I was convinced would make everyone hate me (at least a little lol), I somehow still reached this milestone, and that’s AMAZING!! I cannot thank all of you enough for your constant support and love!! Making the quotes brightens my day every time I post, and seeing your reactions just brightens it even more!!
